It is amazing that people know so few about the concept of user experience. If you take a Samsung, a Moto or a SE phone, with exactly the same hardware and the same Android OS version, you will not feel the phone in the same way. Some will prefer the way Moto does, some the way Samsung does and some the way SE does. It is much more complicated than reading the specifications of a phone.

For those still not understand how fast android world going, Google make OS that quickly grow for better performances which involve a compatible hardware. But to win the battle in Android world, you need both aspect which isn't the cas of x10. At this moment, I can compte 5 devices that can beat x10 in both aspect. A part of the design and UI that hold x10 in the market but the software being 1.6 or even 2.1 and an hardware with Ram 384 Mb make x10 less competitif. Cleary SE need a better device to compite with other but sadly HTC, Sammy and Moto already announced the 2Ghz with Froyo or Gingerbread.

In your example, you compared a Mac Laren F1 and a Toyota Corolla. The first one is optimized to be as fast as possible for a short distance whereas the former one is optimized to carry you and your family wherever you prefer in the world for many years at a normal speed (try to do 200 000 km with a Formula One car). Both are optimized in their way but the aim is different.
So I think your example about cars is not good and I will take one with computers (it is my job).
I installed Windows 7, OpenSuse 11.3 and Debian Squeeze on my computer, what can I observe and measure? I can measure much shorter time to open windows, browse on internet or open an application depending on the OS. The hardware is exactly the same (in my case) but the speed is not. This exactly is why it is better to have something optimized for your hardware than the last update without optimization.

come on man, it's not the best, it has some lacks, the oS version is behind other brands, but it's really lovely! you can't deny it.
if it's not the best, that doesnt mean it's a crap or useless phone! Agree?
65k color is really a let down for me too, but the OS update is close, so there is nothing to worry about, so...?

ONE, 06 Aug 2010hi phoenix please help. should i buy black or white ?i prefer black one
1- in the white version, when the screen is off, you'll see the black sreen with white border(personally i dont like it)
2- i think the back of the white version is a bit slippery
3- i like to watch my photos and movies whithin a black border, coz i think white border reflect light in your eyes and effects on the color of things you watching
so i'll go for black :)

i don't want to heart him.there is no reason .i am a xperia fan.i just told him to stop bushing xperia.i like droid x but the thing is it is a cdma phone.that's bad but i never say bad things about it.i really like it.so please moto gp stop saying bad things about it.by the way i use moto and i really have very bad experience.it is not se but nokia who copied .
