dissapointed, 03 Apr 2012USB port was faulty and stopped working, SE refused to fix ... moreThose things happens due to carelessness, so they won't fix it for free. My x10 is still in pristine condition after more than two years of use and charging it every day using that USB port...

USB port was faulty and stopped working, SE refused to fix even though it came with 24 month warranty... looked it up and it has happened to countless others, now I have to pay out my entire plan to get a new phone - will never buy another Sony product.

I've had the X10 for over a year now.. Recently upgraded it to Android 2.3.3 and it performs smoother and better than it did with Android 2.1 which was the software when I first got the phone. As for battery life, it really depends on how you use the phone. If you use it to play games as well as browse the net etc, you will use up a lot of power. Reducing the screen brightness to the minimum helps keep the battery last longer as well. Without turning on my data and just playing quick games on it, I've had the battery last for over 36 hrs before the red light blinked prompting me to charge the phone. The longest I've had the battery without having to charge it was over 48 hrs. I use the dimmest screen brightness possible and I only increase brightness if I'm outside when the sun is out. Love the phone so far, loving it even more now with Android 2.3.3.

Have had this phone for 2 years, worst phone i have and will ever have. The manufacturing of some of the connections to its pcb board are complete crap, I have had the same problem 4 times now and have had the phone shipped out and replace 3 times, waiting on the 4th. Stay away from this and other phones made by sony.
