I stated the facts here that the galaxy will receive the froyo update three months after it's apparence and i said that xperia will get it almoast after a year. That is an excellen timing by samsung. I had the i900 omnia and i had no problemes with it. As for the fact that xperia the only flagship of a major company still running an outdated versions you have nothing to say? And if samsung offer such poor support why are they the number 2 selling brand in the world? That means that samsung products are more appreciated then sony. Costumers decide and statistics reveals that!!!

Go to XDA developers and there you will see a thread about android 2.1 for x10. It has HD video recording and all the great stuff. Enjoy

This phone was released in MARCH 2010. Not a year ago. It was announced in november 2009. And x10 can show 16 milion colors. The display will show 16milion colors when it will be updated to 2.1 or maybe direct to 2.2. It's limited only by android 1.6 to 65 k colors.
Samsung does not care about their users. I had the i900 and i8000 and the support was like shit. They didn't make good opengl drivers, ram was blocked ( no one knows why), the dumped the phone after a year. For me i8000 whas my last samsung phone. X10 with the latest firmware is a great device. my battery lasts for 3 days, signal is good, it does not hang, games are working great, and after the update to 2.1 or 2.2 we will gain all the 384 ram, although you will not see difference if it had 256 ram, 512 ram or 1gb ram cause android has it's own management ram system.

It's true nowdays even with the fierce competition that generates better and better handsets there is no perfect phone. Maybe the closest one to that title was the n95 when it appared. A company has to ensure that theyr costumers get the best of what their phone can offer and that means keaping the pace with the latest developments and implementing them into their devices .

[deleted post]OH come on, many people say that human eye can't see more than 16 Million colors. That site you gave me probably is a fake one. It is a Nokia site. Nokia has some 16 Million color phones, so they want to be cool! Lol. By the way I know that SE made a mistake by making a phone with 65 k colors. They are NOT perfect, but Motorola isn't too. You can't find a perfect phone. Every phone lacks something.

I'm not a Sammy fan but Galaxy s it is huge and impressive. X10 was but android 1.6 and the long wait of 2.1 kill it. I read your comment sometimes you are not that bad man they think you are. X10 user make friend to promote their device and try to live their own live. I don't mind them but I will keep saying the truth. Thanx again.
