Sorin, 20 Jul 2010I read many opinions and 90% were positive. It's true about... moresamsung,nokia,htc indeed are good phones, every phone has limitations and theres one supplying needles of man, LETS FACE SOMETHINGS.. ´´MULTITOUCH is more dificult to use for me tan symple doubletap the screen,foe zooming i dont want to use 2 fingers to open, FACE IT, amoled is better,but x10 is very very fast with no hangs, xperia is more cool than galaxy and wave, both those are reliable too, no flash no more than 5 mp in one, and one last question
SORIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN X10 OPINIONS IF YOU HAVENT ONE? THERES NO INTERESTING THINGS HAPPNNING IN TH SAMSUNG FORUMS? I knok i know x10 catch my ttention too....

its realy big taabu to buy this phone.I request every body plz don't buy this phone .it does't have video calling. ....&moree ever it does't have good battery.I have xperiya x10 & I have to charge it 3time s in a day.is't it hopeless phone..I really split on xperia x10.

It's true about the battery, 5mp is enought giving the quality of the superamoled.picture will great. What about the videorecording? Xperia is not able to record like Galaxy. Most people say that the hummingbird is much fastes then the snapdragon!!! The bada is in the begining stage and look at the statistics to see how much it enjoys, and giving it's succes samsung will continue to develop it. Both galaxy and wave have just taken off, when salles figures will be released in 1 or 2 months you will see that galaxy and wave will blow away the experia!

just on the first page here is what users have to say:
1)If you want to use VPN, don't buy this phone.
2)Battery issue..funny part is the same user who bash x10 for its battery life are giving the same tips lol...ROFL :P
3)Sound quality
4)Slow
5)lack of a good camera, cause it's only 5 mp and doesn't have flash
ok I stopped there itself....didn't feel like reading more.
btw X10 can multi-task lol and btw flagship phones are always one, if not then whats the use of using the word flagship if all the models are the same :)
Galaxy S isn't cheap either :) or u think otherwise that's your call...
About Bada? Whats the point of having limited apps and limited developers working on it...This is where Android scores :)

What company who respects it's clients would release a flagship priced at 500€ with an outdated OS version??? It's you who are living in a nighmare forced to use a phone who does not have basic functions like multitask or videocalling!!! What other flagship has sony besides the xperia? Samsung released 5 or 6 devices and htc 3 all high-end. Samsung was bold and innovative that they created the bada theyr own OS!!! The wave is enjoying succes immediatly after it's apparence? Samsung is the number 2 brand worldwide!!! What numbes is sony? It's clear that samsung products are more appreciated judging by selles numbers! The reality is very clear only a handfull of fanatics like you can't see it!!!

I browse this site to check phone features of the brand I'm interested with & expect to read opinions/experiences/reviews of users for certain models/brands.
I think that a person who would boast for his type of brand or model of phone should post his own opinions to the page intended for it. This way, SE fans will get to read about the pros/cons/help they need for the certain unit they want...coz if I'm a samsung fan, I'd check the samsung pages...BUT I'M NOT! So I check the SE pages instead!
I would understand if a post of comparison would come from direct experience only, like a former SE user would compare his/her new Samsung unit's performance, etc. and vice versa...that would be the only acceptable facts for me.
TECHNOLOGY IS ABOUT DEVELOPMENT & of course, your older unit could never be as good or better than your new unit (by range). You could only have the best at all times if you could afford it.
Please read the "posting rules" for proper usage of this site. We may have freedom to post what we want but give it much thought & properly use your intellect.

X10 is expensive and will not fit for everyone's pocket may that could be the reason for their outrageous behaviour.

Ravz wanna say u a thing. I think xperia has hypnotized everyone in its beauty, size, muscular power and a big platform. Some fanboys of other companies and brands come here to demoralize us. They think we will outrun. They are real losers because they change forums and phones. They dont have a special phone. But xperia x10 is the best. Who says that xperia cannot updat fast? We have belief and xperia x10 being superb, it becomes a MIRCHI (means spice ) in someones nose.

As per Vodafone India, you are routed via proxy server so you will not able to connect to Google apps including Android Market...For that you will Require Vodafone Mobile Connect.

Yes It has a great sound quality and Camera Quality..only thing which you might disappointed with would be loud speaker volume being a lil low..But with the headphones it's great again :)

8)Screen resolution even working under 65k doesn't make you it is.(will be updated to 16M in Q3)
9)Fast processor and no lag
10)Default browser beats other phones's broswer with
ease.Its great to browse the net with this phone.
11)Screen Size perfect for Watching Videos
12)Timescape/MediaScape is amazing :)
cons
1)in-call volume (it has improved from before)
2)Battery life (I get 2 days with normal use,1 day with heavy use..for me its pretty good but depends upon the person and the way he handles it)
3)Low Loud Speaker Volume ( May not be the highest in the category but not that low that it should be a markdown)
Complaints you will listen to generally
1) Laggy : False claim, it's one of the fastest phones out there and if you don't know how to use android then you really can't help someone. It's like one is complaining about his computer being slow even with 16GB RAM :)..It never lagged for me.
2)Multitouch - It doesn't support one and neither it will , so if you are really crazy about it buy another phone.
3)Video Calling : X10 doesnt have a secondary vid camera and doesn't support one . But Fring to Fring video calling is possible using the main camera :)
So now it is upto u to decide... :)

How about the b... moreBradley I would suggest you to get a demo of the phone before you buy it. Android phones are diff and if you're not into it, you will not like it.
Yes without wifi usage phone easily goes past 2 days with normal usage.
With continuous wifi usage "pretty intense" lol I managed somewhere around 13-14hrs...
but there are ways you will have to safe your battery ..and for the first initial two weeks it may not give you the backup you will hope for but it does improve over the time and also you will need some apps like adv task cleaner to do the job :)

Anyway I never said X10 has any flaws, btw its the only company which is giving continuous firmware updates..btw about android 2.2? Search again. It's not a new OS release its just an update to it n nothing more. About the devices being 5 times faster than those devices being on 2.1..is just like saying guys I have just used turbo petrol for my car and it goes 500kmph instead of 100kmph now lol. There are many factors which come into picture and that's where X10 even being on 1.6 still beats cellphones on 2.1 :) anyway Samsung wave is Bada and not Android. Also talking about the flaws in X10 is just like being a jealous kid who doesn't own one. If X10 doesn't give you the feature which you require like multi-touch or whatever it simply means it's not meant for you.Buy some other product.If you want to be useful talk about how to solve issues if any one is facing with X10, help him/her.Talking about a phone and giving your review based on your own mindset is inappropriate.I'm sure if a person knows how to use the phone he is 100% happy with his/her X10.
