samsung now will launch the galaxy s which will also have a 1ghz of processing speed,, galaxy has a 512mb of RAM,, 16million AMOLED display,, sony,, i guess its time to launch a new phone,,

Hey friends would u believe it? My xperia x1O works very fast in internet on gprs. Also i logged internet for over 6 hrs or more, still 46% battery is left. It's charge died after three days. I didnt do anything. No update nothing. Still it works fantastic. Till it didnt hanged.

i have a sony ericsson xperia x10. this phone hang very frequently. iwll advice not to take this phone

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2010Had this phone for less than 48 hours return it to shop los... morethe keyboard n sms issue has been solved with the latest update R2BA023 n responsiveness has increased alot n graphics r much sharper even with 65 k colour n screen really looks awesome n so far i have not had any problem about the in call volume :).......u must be using as old firmware

Had this phone for less than 48 hours return it to shop losing over $200. Everything name it was wrong with this phone except it's nice fancy looking. Had Samsung Glaxy S and Desire but change my Dersire to X10 but it was a big mistake.
first problem was Keyboard and then screen look no sharp as other phones, not able to sync some of my applications like my tweeter & Facebook, fonts and photos on phone contacts so small, the featue of showing last phone call or SMS on front page big problem. Looking at photo so done until next call or SMS . Old Android OS 1.6 made me limited for download of some applications or Widgets. Can list many more.
The biggest problem earphone so low that not able to hear other side in street, shopping mall or noisy area.
Please try look at other Android phone out there than this SE Experia X10 before lose money and time like me. HTC Nexus and Desire, Samsung Galaxy S, Moto, other new Samsung, Acer, Dell, HTC phones but not Sony Xperia X10.
Sony should be ashamed of himself to stay behind such a phone that no preform as a phone. Please do your research before buy this phone.

The only thing bad with the X10 is that the battery life is nil points!!! To get any longivity you must switch off the 3G otherwise, remember to always place on charge daily. Everything else gets a thumbs up - sound, quality, photos - all great hence why i'm keeping it a bit longer - had it since May '10. Thought I had it longer than that, previous phone Nokia N95 8GB which is still a keeper.

Prabhu, 11 Jul 2010I'm not able to replace the file quickly as told in the gui... morealways have it ready to be replaced like the yes or no option window
so before that step u need to copy the filenames of the one being downloading from seus...and mean time while its getting downloaded get the original file of older version renamed with that of the current file name.....so when u know its been downloaded ...u just hit enter...thats what i do...

market doesn't open if ur on gprs/edge..
but works fine on 3G and wifi.
try updating ur firmware /reinstalling the firmware if the problem persists.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2010hey I dont have software update in my xperia x10i !!!!!!!... moreconnect your phone to your pc, pc companion opens automatically. it normally says your phone's software is up to date. what i did is, i clicked repair software and then followed the instructions that pops out. after the repairing, ,my phone got the 2rba20 baseband. i'm from the philippines and thats the latest software update available. but i heard there is already a 2rba23 on air. the update btw fixed my keypad problems on A and p, they work ferfectly well now. and there's an added themes for the timescape ui.
