but there mobile phone business failed in 2001, and they merged with
Ericsson, Ericsson had 19% at that time, but after Sony-Ericsson merge
Ercisson aslo start falling, now both have only 3.6%
Motorola also start falling, but they go up with new latest android
phones, way better specs than SE. SE put an effort with Anroid like mtot
to survive, as usual it has failed.
x10 is the top phone , but it is outdated !! old os, not compatible with
most latest applets.Missed out multituoch as promised.
Motorola even made hardware upgrades to phones as customers requested .
but SE still not even updated with software.
SE is totally failed,they foo*l people saying they have life time support?
what for ? whose going to use this phone for a life time, or at least 4 years?
we must move with the lastest thats all about technology

I'm planing to change my iPhone 3G as soon as p... moreFor me the clarity of the screen + camera + video recording + the design, the X10 beats the desire miles ahead.
Also with the latest updates from se for the x10, I'm seeing some nice improvements. So I believe the X10 is a better choice, because the upgrade to 2.1 with se customizations will make the x10 rock more than it already rocks now.
I have some friends that own the desire, they say it's a very good device, however, they say that the touch is not that accurate. keep in mind that the x10 will also have HD recording, and eventually it will be upgraded to 2.2 or even 3.0, it's just a matter of time.
And since I own both se and htc, I know that se take care of their customers better than htc and they have more expertise in this field.

I'm planing to change my iPhone 3G as soon as p... morewhen i went to buy mobile .
i was almost undecided between x10 and desire.
then i asked shopkeeper to show me both. and on my first look i got impressed by x10 because of its unique design.then i used x10 and desir both for like 5 minutes and i got even impressed by its unique user interface.desire was looking like too dull in terms of design and user interface. so i just got x10 without any confusion.
as for os problem. for me it is just a matter of numbers.os on x10 is well customized to use.and it is doing everything for me so os version is really not a concern for me. and now with latest firmware, battery issue is also resolved for me.so in the end of the day i am happy user of x10.

Hi guys,
I'm planing to change my iPhone 3G as soon as possible!
But I'm so so confused, I'm stuck between HTC Desire and Xperia X10!
What makes me confused about Xperia is its 1.6 OS! and I'm so confused that if this phone will ALWAYS be LATE TO DATE! just like now, every Andoid phone is gettinf 2.2 but X10 is getting 2.1! this makes to go away from this phone!
Its camera is perfect there's no doubt! built quality is exemplar too! but the OS makes me so confused!
So please help me guys those who already use this phone and if THERE IS ANYONE who has DESIRE too can you give to me some HEAD TO HEAD COMPARISON!

updated x10 to R2BA020.
It has been 2 and half day since last charging and battery status is 66%.Looks like battery problem is completely fixed in this firmware.
Highly Recommended for those who are having battery timing issues.

First of all, I want to thank Ravz for not falling for the guy that was using my nick :)
Secondly, I want to tell you that yesterday I did a comparison between some nokia, sony, samsung phones regarding the camera. And guess what sony cameras beat the others big time! I am not exaggerating and I am 100% sure of what I'm saying.
The only handsets that revealed the true colors of the pics were the se handsets, nokia was not bad as well, but still the colors came either darker or lighter. This happened with colors such as green - silver - red.
Honestly know offense, but samsung cameras were just a joke. They turned the red colors to orange and they turned the purple colors to pink! I must admit I was kind of shocked, specially that I already have a negative concept about samsung.
Regarding the flash to my disappointment se were the weakest, but the pictures were still fine. Nokia won this battle big time, and samsung again ruined the pictures with the flash specially with closer shots, the pictures were horrible and the colors were not real again.
In conclusion: in daylight and low light conditions the se handsets were superior to others. On the other hand, In dark situations I found the nokia to be the best. And finally, if you are a fan of taking pics and you want a camera my advice for you to forget samsung and I mean it! Unless ofcourse you want it for other reasons.

reason being is because the quality of the xperia is alot more advanced to the aino. now the aino has great sound but as a sony expert i would rather prefer the X10 because the sound quality is much similar to the sony walkman series. i managed to have a fiddle with both phones and found the xperia to be more enjoyable then the aino. the sensitivity of the touch screen is similar to the ipod touch/iphone so that just add's to easier accessability to functions like music...i would pick the xperia if i were you hands down. if your still alil weary of the decision. go into your nearest retail mobile store and ask for comparisons.

Ohkay O.o I've been reading the comments up to page four and all I see are arguments and nothing much about the phone.
I'm considering Aino and this one. And I need to pick one, a good phone.
Either Aino or Xperia x10.
Which ones better? This one or that one? I read the phone specifications and Aino has better sound qualities than Xperia.
I use headset more rather than out loud. My usage of the phone would be more of texting and listening to music. Yeah I do take pictures too! But mostly songs and texting. So which one would be better?
I currently own N900 and Ive to give it to my brother to get his pc -_- so I need a good opinion on this one. Xperia x10 or Aino?

it's the best phone that you can get outside of japan,number of android is not such important.nothing can beat outstanding quality!
