The SE vs Motorola comment would be relevant if when Motorola released the Shadow, SE would actually have an update for the X10, nevermind announcing a successor. They're so slow with updates of any sort yet whine and complain they keep losing profits every quarter. Maybe it's because they're not moving fast enough. I mean come on, an update to Android 2.1 this fall? Other devices will already have 2.2, that doesn't cut it.

And no new smartphone works properly, as they all have major problems and bugs. Nokia is putting its efforts into other technologys such as dual sim phones, optical zoom, alternative charging, extended battery life, ovi maps, new OS, applications. This why Nokia has always and will always be number One.

mount x10 to pc when i connect pc via usb cable..
i think you don't get what i mean..
i mean suddenly this problem yesterday..
it was fine,, when i using cable and charging,,,
but since yesterday i can't charging and connect pc

With HTC Androids, Iphone, Samsung like I9000 Galaxy S, and so on. Nokia has no chance no more catch up by keep upgrading the old program Symb.
Nokia Continuously losing market share last few years. In USA market Nokia does not even count.

[deleted post]in 2009 i was in moto forum when se users where coming to bash droid by saying we have 8 mp and 1ghz we will crash droid, out sell it but droid still the most popular android. and i defend droid even when x10 was release but your own ui makes you fail. droid still get better and better now with froyo. so what about moto xtreme or droid 2?

zzayo, 04 Jun 2010I own my xperia x10 since 7th April, but i can't use anymor... more800 dollar for android 1.6? x10 that why this forum is busy 1.6 have to much problems. all this for 1.6 and the heavy ui timescape and mediascape x10 users must wait to q4 for 2.1 and x10 will not get froyo. shame milestone release with 2.0 updated 2.0.1, updated 2.1, now get froyo, will also get 3.0 before x10.

my X10 is running fine. no prob at all.
to connect to pc is very easy. you have to drag down the bar notification at the top and tap the mount word to connect to your pc. did you do that?

A 2009 phone will get froyo in 2 weeks or a month. milestone to be 5 times faster the x10 even in q4 with 2.1 keep loving it that you. i love the way x10 are failing.

I own my xperia x10 since 7th April, but i can't use anymore... cause charging problem now..
It doesn't charging and can't connect with computer...
i tried to use the other cables and the other batterys...
Pretty sure phone problem (micro usb connector)....
Anybody having trouble like me?
i spent more $800 canadian dollar...........

htc scorpion 4g with 1.5 ghz announced running froyo. what about x10 android 1.6 this phone fail for ever. if sony announce better than x10? x12 like this one will out sell x10. nothing better than x10 will announced till december for sony. to save x10 at that time very nice phone will be release like htc scorpion 4g 1.5 ghz cpu. hamid come and defend x10. phoenix was wise he run before it becomes late. this x10 is a big failling.

Just a couple of questions... moreMr south africa i m living in cape town and let me tell you. x10 is available on mtn for r329 per month 2 years contract. x10 is a nice phone but run android 1.6 that the big problem. here same other android on mtn htc hero run android 2.1 cost r299, htc desire run android 2.1 cost r339 per month and motorola milestone android 2.1 cost r289 per month. some are also available in vodacom. x10 will probably get the android 2.1 in q4 2010 and will not get froyo for now. moto milestone is cheap, strong and the most popular android phone. that the one you can get.

For those who are buying it as their first complete touchphone ...few things u should know..
1) Calling wont be easy as ur previous phone , atleast not at the start...there is no hardware button to answer ur call.
2) while ur driving especially a bike ...and u wanna quickly answer ur phone ...arrghh forget about it ...u wont be able to do this with any complete touch oriented phone..u need to stop by the time that turns into a missed call.
3)If the phone was outta ur budget and u still bought it ...there is always gonna be this thing back off ur mind ..if the phone in ur pocket is not along with the keys, hope the phone didn't get a scratch :) *happens with me* :D
4)Now the good part, multimedia/web browsing is amazing on a capacitive touch screen like Xperia X10...its just so smooth...
just thought for first time touch screen phone buyers u should keep this in mind...

lucky here is a suggestion...grab xperia x10 from the nearest center and feel it urself ...as its a personal choice when it comes to standalone keyboard and completely touch oriented phone...it comes down to what ur comfortable with :)
dont rush urself into buying coz of the market hype..take ur time...and as u know there is always a better product waiting for launch if this doesn't suit ur choice...
