Due to the fact that I use this phone and many people form this forum do not I can frankly say this is not a phone because it delivery basic phone functions as making call at a poor level. but it is great gadget for other activities.
I am also, like some other guys, frustrated about the non X10 owners using this forum for all the wrong reasons and hope and trust that fellow owners will ignore their comments and simply use the forum for what it is intended!

Extremlly bad for phonecalls, bad sound quality during call, low sound level of incoming calls.

Battery problems?
I am the proud owner of a X10 and experienced what I thought to be battery problems.
I now own the X10 for 2 weeks and can share the following feedback:
Currently 37% battery level left after last charge 2 days 7 hours and 9 minutes ago!!!!
I have had average use of about 12 - 15 calls, 4 e-mails, daily reading and update on Facebook, 2 visits to the market with 4 application downloads, Used google maps once, 7 SMS's, took 8 photo's and listened to some music.
This is what I did and suggest you try it if you are experiencing the same.
1) Charge and completely drain phone 10 - 15 times.
2) Upload "Advanced Task Killer" from market. (Remember to de-select Alarm Clock on application)
3)Under settings - Wireless control -switch off Wi-Fi (when not needed)
4)Under settings - Wireless control - Mobile networks - switch off MMS & data (when not needed)
I am so frustrated about the non X10 owners using this forum for all the wrong reasons and hope and trust that fellow owners will ignore their comments and simply use the forum for what it is intended!

Nokia is the best because its smarter and not in the specs/technology race. And its phones simply work without battery failures, bad battery life, low volume etc etc. SE has had these problems since 2005. Look at the Nokia X6, nothing fancy, basic specs, but 36 hours music playback time, stereo speakers, good volume etc etc.

Maybe they will shock us with a great Symbian phone, we will see what they will do. :) The N8 is better than the Satio, but the Satio is much older than the N8. Satio's successor will be awesome, and SE could announce it next week, or in the middle of June, when they announced in 2008 the C905.

They started the N series in 2005, and every year they announced at least 3 N series models. In 2008 they announced 3,4 N series smart phones, and that year was an awesome year 4 them. but what happened in 2009?? Only one N series phone?? What happened?? Well, they now has some financial problems, or why they announced only 1 device? This year they announced one N series device, the N8. Nokia will announce another N series phone too, but they are a little bit late eg in the Megapixel range. SE released the Satio last year in October. If we talk about screens, SE is more advanced, if we talk about UI, SE is as good or better than Nokia. If we talk about Ram, and CPU, Nokia is weaker than Nokia, so why you said that Nokia is much better than SE? :)

Even if will beat it, SE will announce the successor of the X10, and that phone will beat the hell out of the Shadow! The next SE Android phone could have a 12MP camera with HD video recording, 4 inch WVGA screen, 1.2 GHZ CPU, 384 Mb of Ram, 8Gb of internal memory. DO you think that SE can't make a great phone to compete Motorola? By the way Motorola will make high end smart phones for Asia, and for America's Verizon, or At&T!

[deleted post]i owned milions phone of each brand,i change them 3-4times yearly & my experience with moto are:weak camera performance,noise,unreal colors and so on,viedos also very bad jumping and like scratched loking,screen?the other thing looks like fogy against the others [same resolution of samsumg,sony]very ugly picture ,software unstable,alarm doesnt go off and a lot kindy surprises of similar kind

htc, samsung, motorola release best android in the market. then sony wanna try to do the same with stupid idea of mp3 android phone what ever this is a fail already.
