but, once you upgrade to gingerbread, the phone will come mulit-touch for games.

I have my X10 since it was launched and I have always kept it up to date with software. Since the upgrade to 2.3.3 the battery life suckks though and nowadays my phone automatically switches off as soon as the battery reaches less than 40%...also if i switch it back on it will just be on for 5 mins and again show that the battery is drained and switches off.. i need to keep my phone on charge continuously and it will only last for 2 hrs on standby....any suggestions......???????????????????

Some app... moreah ok i see, well i'll uninstall the app now, charge it up and check during the night. im actually looking for the best I get out of the phone when it comes to speed and battery life. I'd like custom software that caters for that, but does that require you to root the phone and if so any guidelines? i know it voids the warrenty but if it does what I want then ill gladly pay for any repairs to come.

Some apps keeps on restarting and your task killer keeps on turning it off, resulting in more battery consumption. IMHO, Start-up Auditor or the likes of it is better. Also, if you really like long battery life, you need to install custom ROM like Wolfbreak's in XDA forum. My x10 will just eat 10% on 24 hours standby easily...

i'm using it and updated it to 2.3.u know what.its awesome..seriously..although i think 4.0 must be better for x10.i love this phone so much.

I am using Windows7 64bit in my pc. I installed Sony Ericsson PC Companion v-2.01.231 in my pc. but it does not recognize my Experia x10i. where is the problem? i tried usb cable as well as bluetooth. OS is Android 2.1.

Hey guys and girls, i seem to have an ongoing issue i was wondering if any of you can help a guy out, i got the phone for a while, recently updated to 2.3 gingerbread, and the battery life crashed to like 5 hours on standby, less when in use...i sent it in to sony, they gave me a brand new model and installed 2.3 themselves, 1 week later and again the same thing, it doesnt last more than around 5 hours, I charged the new battery as recommended, drained it completely 5 times, kept it off while charging until 100%...but now it just doesnt last, I dont have juicedefender but ido have advanced task killed which automatically kills background apps every hour (batt life doesnt change if it's uninstalled)
any advise?

DSL, Cable or wifi: 30-90 minutes (Recommended)
Dial-up: 1-2 days (Discouraged)
