I have put posts before about the sale of smartfones to the general public..I would consider myself quite up on things since 2003 with intro of nokia 3650 but ive just bought t-mobile pulse to get into android whilst saving for x10/n8..It has taken me a good few days to get the hang of things in android and their is a lot missing and to the person off the street its going to baffle them to the point of returning the smartfone..This statement could upset the general public but these o/s are not for the average JOE ..Imagine somone coming from an s/e c510 and then getting hold of nokia n900 or s/e x10 epecting to just switch it on and its all set up..Todays smartfones are ultra complex and cannot imaging the sheer amount of coding involved,,especially something as simple looking as WORD on a pc contain-0oping over 50,000 lines of code..I can understand peoples frustration when pure geeks like us complain and struggle a bit with todays smartfone ,,imagine what its like for novice in the street???
I still reccomend these fones come with a warning or at least at point of sale the assisstant telling the person the fone they about to purchase is advanced..After all the person aint going to find a good instruction book inside on operation and anyway imagine the size of the instruction it would be the size of a telefone directory..
Ive seen the x10 working a little in carfone and that screen is real super quality but the speaker sounded tinny ,,the person was playing some rock typ of song..Cannot comment any else till i get hold of one (big smile of joy) and those white leds between the buttons seem pretty powerfull could they be swithched off??

you know, ive heard loads of people moaning about windows mobile being horrible
anyway i bought a htc hd2 and i love having windows mobile. it is so customisable and you can make it your own.
how is the x10 anyway? and be honest. most people who own sony ericssons say they're amazing although most arent

X10 is a very special phone. It runs with Android plus SE pesonalization.

Well, for me, I can text a lot faster with my n... moreHAHA, you cant handle an android.. music disappearing? maybe its in your SD card, try searching it. use a file explorer, download one in the market.
problems with keyboard? try replacing it with SWYPE or HTC keyboard. x10's keyboard sucks anyway.
android is not really a phone for those are not technical people or should i say, "smart enough" to handle complicated things.
if you love playing around your computer, or modifying secret files in your computer.. android can do almost everything..
I am not bashing anyone here, i am just trying to explain. PEACE

Well, for me, I can text a lot faster with my n97, n a lot slower with my 3 days old x10, plus trying to understand where my music files disappears if I send through my n97 to the x10, so far no1 has replied to me.
I was so damn excited to get this phone, after buying feel disappointed. btw, I got the black1.

i just bought x10, it's my first android phone
so i am a little comfused. i want to ask one question...can you use mp3 tracks for incoming ring sounds? and if yes,how can you do this?

Although I have not used iPhone I can say so much about messaging that while composing a text message, the phone does not show how much letters of 160 is used and how much you still can use so that your text would be sent only in 1 message...Maybe I do not know how to use X10 properly yet (I have owned it about a week now), but this is a minor disadvantage in my opinion. Yet, on the other hand I am not sending much text messages...

flip, 01 May 2010u have to open x10 bluetooth. mw600 is compatible to x10you know what? when using tunewiki app can control wm600 bluetooth headset... i think software bug... need to update firmware for bluetooth..
