Hero, 24 Apr 2010Like i said, SE PROMISED to update it to the latest android... moreok fair enough...but still that doesn't answer my question...I'm not going to wait till Sept to get the phone, but seeing as it's all just software, it could just be updated, correct? or no?

Listen guys, I see people going on about the outdated OS, but lets say you buy the phone now with the outdated OS, wont it be possible to upgrade the OS to the 2.2/2.3 when it comes out? like just a software update??

Many seem to comment on how much this phones suffers from Android 1.6. But it has the main features that you need and they work very well. Now I would not want an Iphone as they are just too flimsy too much I wanna be like everyone else. I want a Phone, Music player, media phone that where I can stay in touch with my friends and take good snaps and up load them quickly.
I just love how all my friends say oh i have x apps that I use all the time, so I ask what apps do you have? Oh Facebook, twitter, hello!? they are websites now where are the apps that you really use?
The main reason for choosing this phone is SE, they have made the best phones by far and they test to make sure the phones are built to be used with out a huge screen protector and drop protection cases you have to add.

This one got 8mp and different UI.
Even its shutter speed is poor (Like desire and the other android) it gives better quality of picture than other android phones if you use good apps like cameraFX.
Why I choose x10?
-Better Camera (Picture and Video)
-Design, IMO the most stylish phone today
-I am losing interest to sense (sold my HTC Hero)
-Want to try the new SE UI
-Bigger screen, better for watching videos
Well, both SE and HTC sucks in updating (Hero is still stuck at 1.5) at least, SE Promised to have one in september (Might be Android 2.2 or later)

who the hell said it will be available in September? I am in Dubai and already using it. Bought it officially with operator package. People should avoid commenting without knowing the truth.

imho HTC DESIRE is better then X10 in leaps and bound
DESIRE is the phone to own and if you buy X10 all you do is wait wait and wait cause of its lags..
