Mine is 2 weeks old now and battery is performing well again. I fully drained it for the 4th time; what I usually do is remove the battery first before charging it. I noticed that this "quick" discharge that I experienced last time is not happening so far and will continue to observe this for the next couple of days. I also set the Network to 2G only the moment I got the phone.
I am located here in Manila Philippines and you can contact me here since I do check some updates here everyday.

Does anyone know how to add a hotmai.co.uk mailbox to the xperia x10. Everytime I add the mailbox with imap or pop3 it doesn't recognise it. Any solutions?

It's been almost 2 weeks since I got this phone... moreHi Angel,
My X10 is one week old now, daily I need to charge the phone which is consider very fast draining out for a new mobile phone. I was suggested by my mobile dealer which she own an Iphone to change the network setting to 2G intead 3G.
Go to Setting then Wireless control, look for Mobile Networks follow by Network Mode, please select GSM only (for 2G) voila done, and when you wanna 3G switch back to GSM/WCDMA preferred or WCDMA only.
I hope this is work for those having same problem.
BTW, where are you located?? Im from Malaysia.
I'm really tired always need to read all the none related topics and chats. I would like to suggest add you into Facebook.

Great News!
New Version of Android on September, along with multitouch! =)
though this is not official, at least there is a hope! LOL!
September is a long way, so im guessing a newer version of android and not 2.1
So this is it:
September - Android update, Multitouch
October - Adobe Flash 10.1
and if all of that happen, this device will be the best of all.
well, i am not expecting a new generation of phones until 2011 (2ghz, 1gb ram, etc)

Another thing that caught my eye is the voting score,,it was all 8.5 when i was last on x10 forum it should be going up not down??

Been busy but managed to get to hold x10 in carfone,,dummy only...Heck its big i mean my touch pro is 2.8 inch screen and the n97 i had for a while was 3.5 inch so to me this was big but in a good way..Any how it will be like phoenix and a while for i get one..My worry is as fones come and go so does the support on the forums but good fones still have people in them chatting away and in a few months will se 2010,,phoenix,,mobilemaster still be here??I mean what if other stuff comes out?? I hope the x10 forum is one that gets stronger as more people buy it due to price drop and people renewing contracts upgrade to x10..
The android platform seems to be changing every week with updates so i hope s/e keep up with these updates to keep the x10 fresh..To me there is no reason why the x10 shouldnt be a top smartfone for another year as i think its highly unlikly its spec will be beaten this year by much..In the flesh its different to the fotos on websites as is often the case it loos nicer,,i just hope the buzz about the fone keeps going as android gets better and stronger..I had a look at htc desire but the video recording put me off as i put in my opinion on that forum..I will keep eye on the x10 forum and keep saving and by the time i buy it it will be more smarter and a bit cheaper...

Of course, by the time September rolls around, we can only assume that Froyo will be alive and well, so the ultimate question of relevancy for Sony Ericsson's very first Android venture remains to be answered.

Is LG BL40 better than Sony Ericsson Vivaz? Or is it the other way around? Pls guys, I do reall need your honest opinion about this since I'm planning to buy a new phnoe as an upgrade. Also, which is more practical to buy when it comes to price, durability, quality, style and features, and support for downloads/softwares/applications to be installed on the phone?
