Hi Guys,
X10 is really nice phone from SE. Just have it's sceen protector put earlier and my experience changed. I was still using the factory screen protector for a week in case if everything goes wrong I can send it back to SE.
This changed my experience, not overall actually still waiting for the Android 2.1 software. The transition & response of the phone is quite good now.
It's a good experience. I wish SE includes the bluetooth headphones side from the screen protector, leather case, 8GB sd card & phone stand :)

i messaged the sony ericsson team and they emailed me back saying the software was going to be upgraded "very soon" !! not sure what VERY means but its clearly good news - anyone heard anything ?

To set the camera light to on you neeed to first open the camera app (long press on shutter key on right side of phone or tab the camera icon in menu) then hit the menu button (button with the 4 small squares on) and select advanced options. Then go to photo light! Simples! ;)

For people having trouble setting your own mp3 as ringtone and dont want to go through the hassle of create folder/put file in notifications folder thing, here is an easier alternative. Just open the file in mediascape, click on menu and select set as ringtone. Hope this helps someone.

-cheap capacitive screens with multi-touch hardware have multi-touch input capability (i.e Milestone)
-expensive capacitive screens without multi-touch hardware have no multi-touch input capability (i.e X10)
-the sensuous black X10 unable to get multi-touch capability for some unknown reasons (maybe Sony Ericsson doesn't want the black one to be more expensive than the white one)
-no one is telling the truth than let me do the same
