    This page is meant for users using the XPERIA™ X10 to comment on the phone and opinions of this phone. But why are people posting nonsense from other brand names. Seriously, I think these people have no basic common sense to think and they shouldn't ever use high tech mobile phone. They do not understand the meaning of this page. They are simply treating this page as a page of revenge and jealousy. People would like to know more about this phone, which is why they are here with 93% hits.

      SAR Value needs correction. It should be 1.25 W/kg and not 1.40 W/kg. please update the specifications on XPERIA™ X10. thanks gsmarena.

          BTW, Toshiba invented the laptop and I believe the first portable radio cassete in the 1970's. Just a bit of trivia that we all seem to enjoy. Its better than argueing about silly stuff.

            GPS is restricted here due to the civil war lasted, still we are unable to use, So I cannot test it.
            you can get prisoned fro 5 years using any type, now that war is over , and will have freedom from this September as they say

Nokia has a good strategy of selling huge volumes to the masses of people. Mainly entry level and mid range phones. Nokia likes to sit back and watch other brands battle for high end end phones, then later sneak in with a great phone.

                Well I got it from a friend from Japan(softbank) , I got it unlocked here,the TV is not working, I am not recommending this phone(923) for your requirement,sometimes it may lock some features after unlocking,my requirement was to watch videos. how ever I can make video calls.

                really my interest was its screen and the swivel design,it can be easily placed on the table, rotate it and watch video, I tried to transfer sound to my Moto S9-HD head set but still cud not do it, the display is crisp, the best ever I had.it very light,Once I dropped it about 20 stairs down and still working perfect.

                Actually I cud have taken 930Sh but I did not like it coz the display is not rotatable, cannot place on table watch anything.

                923 is just awesome

SE is not japanese, Sony is japanese, Erisson is swedish, many of the parts are made by Samsung,Korea and the SE phones are made in China. But SE can claim the first waterproof phone and Transparant phone. They are a big first things ! The other firsts are just extentions of existing technology.

                  But right now, the SE X10 is the phone of the moment.

I study their evolution, and I can say they are far away before Nokia or SE, or Samsung. I know Samsung made the world's first 10MP camera phone in 2006, but now what happened? Sharp has 12MP CCD camera phones!! I wote the most important things what Japan made, if you don't read it, read it now. :)

Please look carefully at the image. I am NOT talking about designs here, I am talking about technology, and Sharp and Japan has it. The first waterproof phone was made by SE Japan, the So902 WP was announced in 2006 March. :) Fujitsu followed them, and on 2007 they announced the F703 Wp phone. Japan made the first Email capable phones arrived in Japan is 1999! In 2000 appeared the first camera phone(by Sharp), 3G network in 2001, full music download in 2002, digital TV phone in 2005! All these infos are true, I gathered them because I like to "praise" Japan! :D

                              yes, they are not exported, you have mistaken something MPX300 was from Motorola not Sharp. I was just saying the sharp phone has the same type of flipping (two way) as Old Motorola Mpx300.

                              My favorite phones I have used from old days were,

                              Motorola - Startac,V66,T722i,E365,V600,v80(really a entertainer)
                              A780,E680,RAZR V3,V9x,Z6,Z10(current use),

                              Samsung - SGH-v200 (was a really a entertainer)
                              P-400,D500,D600,F480(current use),

                              Sharp - 905,923(current use)

                              SE- Z600

                              Nokia - 3650,7610

                              Hope to buy a an android soon, but with video call, now in my country 32 hours of out going video calls are free+16 hours of free voice calls as well for a month. for a rental of just US$3.00 , and a text message is just US$0.01, for MMS US$0.0001 for 10KB

                              We can really enjoy them

                                Sharp released a 4.0inch screen with 480 x 1024 resoultion in January 2010 with a 8 meg camera,WiFi and GPS. Plus a digital TV tuner !!

                                Toshiba released the T201 with a 4.1 screen and 1 ghz processor nearly a year ago.

                                So nothing new about this technology. Maybe other brands have done the same also.
