Phoenix, 29 Mar 2010Do you need handwrite recognition too?it is ok to have hand writing recognition although it is not so practical. before the P1 i had the i mate jam and i found the writing recognition to be not so practical

Phoenix, 29 Mar 2010OK mate, now we're talking, yes video calling is possible a... morewill, i simply need a nice touch phone with a video call capabilities. it should be smart concerning the calenders and the notes. the P1 have 3.2 cam. which was amazing so i expect any SE cam. above that to be satisfactory. in general i need a SE brain in my phone. one note i'm a somewhat careless so expect me to drop the phone "an old habit from the P1"

It doesn't have multi touch right now or in the future, but don't worry! It just need a few steps to do to get the so called multitouch. (it is recommended you're assisted by an expert)
1. if you have installed some apps. then uninstall it
2. turn off the phone
3. pull out the battery then remove the memory card
4. *It doesn't matter if you haven't upgraded it yet to v2.1!*
5. run SE pc suit then minimize it and leave it run in the background
6. go to the phone shop and get a multitouch hardware, tell the shop keeper : i want to buy an iphone 3GS
7. now you have multitouch on your phone.

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2010Hello If you need advice, better get it from another pl... moreto be honest. i haven't tried the x 10. yet my SE experience was amazing with the P1. i could describe this phone as a phone with a brain. it is always ready whenever you need it and it is always ok to trough it on the ground whenever you want. it is for me the phone of all phones. i don't think u did really try it but if you did i'm sure you will fall in love with SE

so if you're not gonna buy this one, just tell me all of your requirements from your future phone. i'll honestly try to help you choose the best phone that suits you:)

dear all i think everyone here is loosing the subjectivity, i have the SE P1 for 3 years now. i was waiting for something to replace it with and was waiting for the xperia x 10 in particular. now i'm thinking of satio cuz i need the 2ry cam and because all of you are not helping. you are attacking each other and not saying anything useful about this phone

was thinking about getting the x10 but after i saw alot of videos over youtube about the x10 it seems it have alot of laggg no multitouch no android 2.1 over priced 800$ will go for the desire muchh better they only thing i liked in the x10 the design
