also try googling "top/best android apps" theres lots of app reviews on the best/good app!
With Helix launcher with wifi/bluetooth/gps/data/background data all off on 3g network and 20% screen brightness(0%/minimum feels too dim for me)ive been able to get 1.5days with the battery at 40% with occasional calls/smses and checking facebook/email and games etc.
Not quite as long as SEX2 with 2 days to 40% with 1-2hrs of wifi,bluetooth,gps and games though :(
Having the data off has made a noticeable difference though...i may try using only 2g to see if that helps more!

Love this phone!!! Manageble,user friendly,loaded & very tiny for a smart phone!!! 2 thumbs up for S.E!!!
