Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro

I bought the X10 Mini pro last week. Before which I actually had spent almost 2weeks reading reviews and exploring the features of X10. It really does a good job with regard to the design, features, etc. but after using the phone for a while, I realized that it inherits Sony Ericsson's traditional problem which I had heard from friends/relatives before
1) The slide doesn't work well ;( Most of the time, its getting stucked and I got to tilt and give a push to put it back in its position
2) This really hurts, when I receive an incoming call the phone displays the caller details and when I try to pick up the call, at times, the phone respond !!. I got to restart the phone to make it work again
I'm sure, we can't do anything for the first problem as it got to do with the Hardware. Does any one got a solution for the 2nd problem? If yes, please let me know.

Danielle, 12 Jul 2010I've been using this phone for almost a week now and I'm in... moreI think the screen goes off using light sensor when you approach phone to the ear, however it sometimes does not workout or lags and i also end up shouting into the phone because i accidentally turn off the mic by touching it's button with my ear and nobody hears me :) it's funny, but it starts to annoy me.
Battery life 1 - 1.5 day. But i am using those 'suggestions' from SE: turning off wifi, auto-sync, data traffic when i do not need them and using the app killer as well. Anyway, i had an iphone for 2 years, so i forgot what it feels like to have a phone alive for 2 days without charging it :)

I've been using this phone for almost a week now and I'm in two minds whether to send it back or not. I love the size of the phone and find it easy to use, however i've found 2 annoying problems. First is that the battery life is shocking - i'm having to charge it atleast twice a day! Secondly, I find it annoying that the keypad doesn't lock when your in a call so numbers can easily be pressed and the call ended by mistake.

bcs nobody give clear sound Quality
every one give loud sound but no body give like sonyericsson
listion any loud sound without problem
not harmful
give clear cristel with bass effect sound

1 - that's android fault, it will be supported with android 2.1 update, you can also search for the solution in the app market.
2 - App market again, search for a solution there otherwise only android update again.
3 - It's a li-pol battery, battery life will become better after some charge-discharge cycles

1.The bluetooth DOES NOT support FILE TRANSFER.
2.The browser does not support FLASH.
3.POOR BATTERY.
Will the following problems be solved, if yes how?
and when will this phone get its 2.1 os update?

Hello again,
I have added some more camera samples here http://77.79.12.237/x10mini/ .And these were taken not for testing purpose. We were going on vacation and I forgot to take my camera (also forgot my car documents, but thats another story:) so, we were left only with my x10 mini pro. I and was happy i had bought it before going on trip. I have taken about 160 pictures and i am more than pleased with it's quality. Yes it's not perfect, but for memorizing moments it's more than enough. You can zoom in and see grain or noise, but hey, how often you view your pictures in actual size? :) Maybe indoor quality is a little disappointing and sometimes too much light also makes pictures look worse. Anyway, you can see yourself that this small phone does the job.
About radio. Reception is great and controls are cool too. But there where i was were very few stations available, but i got a great radio app from android market where radio is streamed over wi-fi or 3g and there are many stations to choose and also you can enter an url of your choice radio if it is not in the list.

Sony is really bumming out of the cellphone market. While most android phones coming out are at 2.1 sony is stuck with 1.6. Sony used to be a quality brand, now it's a mediocre brand. The only one pulling it's wait is PS3 and PSP.

@my below comment.. when i downloaded the pics.. nd applied as my desktop wallpaper.. the pics look pretty good.
though... at 100% size it looks little unclear.. but when its size is reduced (i.e. zoomed out) it looks more clear.
Can someone who can judge photograph quality well.. tell me about its camera quality... m all confused.. !
