I should mention also they are using the same battery that has been used in K850/S500/W580...non-smartphones released 3 years ago! Battery life was always going to be a problem if they based the hardware around using this.

In my case it's particularly important, I travel regularly as part of my work. Sometimes my work hours can be as bad as 20hrs+ in a day. If my battery can't even last until evening, then it's not suitable for me. 5+ years ago, before 3G phones and colour screens were even common, if a phone lasted 3 days it was considered a bad battery!! Today, I have an iPhone. 95% of my use is txts, email, calls or browsing (with 3G and wifi normally switched off unless browsing). Normally, after charging the phone overnight, by 11pm the following day I can find it between 10-30% battery. That is BAD for what should be a MOBILE phone... and what's worrying is there are other phones out there with worse battery life i.e. this one. Technology has improved leaps and bounds...why don't these companies take the time to develop new batteries as well as new phones?! In the X10 Mini/Pro's case, having a worse battery life than say an iphone means it is unlikely to last til 11pm with 'normal' use. That is worrying.

price x10 mini in italy from 239 to 249 euro. In italy can you buy it in start of june.

Doesn't matte ... moreFor some reason i agree wit you,4hour is more than enough to make a call,but people want to buy this not 100% to use make a call like you. it more about listenn music,internet brows,gaming and watching video,so 4hour absolutely not enough expecialy teen like me,do you already thinkn about that?

I hope they will release this phone soon, otherwise i will buy the htc desire instead of this phone.. (really want this phone because of the qwerty thing on it). But if i can't have this, i'm going fot htc because it has multitouch.. :) I really need a new phone now haha... gosh i can't make a choice between waiting for this, or buy htc desire... or htc legend but i think desire is better..

Everyone always whinging about battery life. Doesn't matte what the product is, battery life is always an iddue. That's because there is no way battery technology can keep up with all the other technologies. If you want a lot of stuff, crammed into a small device, it's gotta take a toll on battery life. And what country do you live in where you can't just plug it in and charge it over night? I reckon 4 hours talk time is more than enough. I really don't think it's that big of a deal, but at the same I can see where you guys are coming from. Longer battery would be nice...but the way the SIZE of phones are going these days...Who wants to card around a laptop to make phonecalls? They're all getting so big.I am definitely looking forward to the release of the X10 Mini pro...
