This phone has been a terrible phone, it drops calls, it locks up if not shut off for at least a couple hours a day. Would not recommend this phone as it is my only line, but I have had no problem with the battery life

very bad cell xperia x10 mini pro it is not updating and it is working very slow i thing china cell is better than this

Dont listen to all these battery life queries, i am using this phone from 1 year and i always see the phone lasts 1 to 1 1/2 day and it is quite normal for an android......even i have seen xperia mini pro and samsung galaxy s2 also and all the droids last only just above one day....
If anybody uses continuously Data and wifi obviously no android phone in the market lasts for more than 4-5 hrs
My suggestion if you buy this phone use a custom gingerbread ROM from xda......

Guys, for those who are planning to purchase xperia x10 mini pro, JUST DON'T..!!
i was super excited with this set cause it was really cheap and it was so called a SMARTPHONE. I went through all the reviews of this set on net and ended up knowing the battery life is poor. so I did a bit search over google to know how to increase it's battery life.
..i found that upgrading to android 2.1, turning brightness to 0, and using ADVANCED APP KILLER will do it. The battery will then last for 1 day. it was enough for convincing me to buy the device. cause as you know most of the android devices battery life last long for 1 day.
..i went to the sony ericsson shop and purchased the device, upgraded to 2.1 and did all that to make it's battery performance better.
..to my utter shock i found out the battery doesn't last long even for 3 hours if you chat/use internet/hear song. and once the device shuts down owing to low battery it takes 5/6 minutes to turn on after plugging it to charging.
there are more problems. false touch while in charge, device hangs..so i went back to the shop and replaced it with samsung galaxy 551. ^_^
NEVER EVEN THINK OF BUYING THIS SET.

Slow processor even upgraded to andriod 2:1 ... Short battery life... I regret buying this phone... :-(

do not buy this phone under any circumstance! bought it as soon as it appeared because I was a sony ericsson fan, the phone started lagging and restarting itself aftet few months of usage, sometimes the auto-rotation would go crazy, the hardware off the phone is too weak so everything is choppy, memory to low, no android updates point 2.1,it's like using windows 98

when u insert a sim card in the phone it does not come on but when the sim card is not there, phone is functioning normal what causes that

Its a great phone, the touch screen is very responsive and the qwerty keyboard i a pleasure to use. The only thing i wish is for Sony Xperia to release an update for Android 2.2 or higher otherwise it is a great phone and i would recommend it
