this phone is really owosom bt there is two major problem with this camera 1 it has nt video calling 2its screen resolution is not so gud and third and most important battery consumption is too much only 8-10 hr battery backup

battery drain soooo fasttt..
only one day for normal usage, texting, call 2 times..
but it's cool when u update to unofficially froyo 2.2 ROM from XDA, multi touch, optional overclock, on so on..it's tottaly works on me..

Well guys, let me share you my experience. According to my experience Mini pro is among the best smartphone, specially when updated to Android 2.1. The best part is the video recording with continous auto focus with good quality and good framerate control. Image quality is good but far from best. You can have a lot of customisation and a gud office apps. It never lags, however, it hangs and self restarted couple of times, maybe because of bugs in apps I used. The screen is small but the browser is excellent, with text flow layout properly controlled.
And since its an android, you'll have tons of apps to meet ur needs. Just enter ur needs as a keyword in Android Market app like u did in google and everything's there. The touch responses is one of the best as well as the text input method. All forms of connectivity is excellent.
Now the ugly part...
Battery, as everybody complained, it will never last more than a day whatever means you try to save it.
Default music player is just a basic player, no equalisers so if you don't have a nice headphone them u r done, however, that's not an issue as there are tons of apps to substitute it.
The camera, its just the basic, no settings, no zooms, no timers nothing. So it actualy makes things boring..no pause and resume in video recording, no zoom. No touch capture and Shutter button is hard to press so you'll get handshake blur most of the time.
The volume of loudspeaker is very low, so you'll miss most of the call if you are in noisy environment.you'll get max 156 MB of onboard memory and since android 2.1 doesn't support memory card apps instalation, even if there's ton of apps, you'll only have a few at a time.
So this are the few basic things. So if you like to take pics and clips regularly, you may want to consider other phones. But if you Want something which is allrounder and master of few, then it's the best option. The design is also very cute.
Last words, if u like the compact design and better feature, then you can wait for the new Xperia Mini Pro which has bigger screen with multitouch, android 2.3, front camera, be very sound etc., just look for it at gsmarena or sonyericsson website.

no updates beyond android v2.1
it has problem with wifi connectivity.
No flash support
still camera bad .. need a really steady hand.
please read sonyerricson support forum before buying any SE phone in the future.

Brilliant phone for it's size. Mine is great. Does not hang, restart or break. Only downside might be short battery life, but it will last a day even when used alot. Well done SE

nice cell. but i said to dont buy this. it have anroid 2.1 and you cant upgrade this. anroid is launch 3.0 but we still have to use 2.1 what a crap. so dont buy this

oh.....zesus, this is really a worlds best Tablet Pc Cellphone, i love sony xperia one click 3g. and more and 3,00000 Free Applications and more its magic cell, xperia mini pro x10, is best ever, dont ever mind to buy xperia x10 mini pro 2 (version two having some bugs and errors)
