i am using xperia x10 mini pro os 2.1 i want to upgrade the phone to 2.2 or 2.3.... is it possible ..???
some one says its not possible and some says its possible.... plzzz help me ////

Anonymous, 23 May 2011Can v upgrade tis phone with android 2.2 OSupgrade to 2.2 (and 2.3) only possible using custom rom. i use xCyanogenPro by slade87 & owain94 which is pretty stable. this rom is 2.2 with support of app2sd and dual touch

FOR ALL GUYS ASKING ABOUT BATTERY PERFORMANCE!
I bought this for my GF. At first the battery was awful!!! Couldn't last 1 day!
I rooted it, and then i removed all unnecessary apps and especially TIMESCAPE and all it's relative apps! And i installed instead Launcherpro.
Now the battery is magnificent, can go easily on 2 days moderate use or 1 day with heavy use!

i sold my galaxy ace just to buy this phone. it sounds like a downgrading but for me it just another new experience. i found the size of this phone is quite charming but i hate the ancient 2.1 eclair firmware. so just a few hours after bought it, i flashed it with cyanogenmod rom. android 2.2 froyo, multitouch (pinch zoom), app2sd, overclocked cpu, more in depth customization etc makes the phone 'mini but powerful'. so for all those people that blaming the phone for being no-multitouch, not enough memory to intall apps, low battery life etc; remember that this is an android smartphone. you want it to be smart, you need to be smart first.
