raushan, 24 Apr 2011battery backup is not good and other disadvantage is it can... moreIt can work as a mordem. mine is working.
Steps:
1.Download PDAnet from the marketplace
2.Install the PDAnet server for your OS of choice here
3.You will have to restart your computer
4. Hook up your phone, run PDAnet and follow the instructions!
note: on Mac you have to turn on wifi to get the computer to connect properly. For most people, you should just be able to turn wifi on and not have to connect to anything.
There you go. Now, you are finally able to really use that unlimited 3G data plan on your computer.
A great feature of PDAnet is that all traffic is actually rooted through your phone so your carrier can’t tell that you are tethering. As far as they know, you are just surfing the web on your phone.

I'm very happy about my xperia x10 mini pro. It's the best phone I ever had. I erased "windows.autorunner" on the phone because i thought it was a virus... please tell me what to do so i can save my phone

Not good if you want to do serious use as smart phone.
The battery life is too less. I charge 2 times daily.
The screen size is too less to do anything.
Too slow even if only skype is kept running.
The launcher sucks and is too unfriendly.
Contacts, messaging and is pathetic.
Email app is pathetic.
Btw all these apps are of Sony and that's what sucks.

sum1 pls help ASAP cos i cnt seem to hv internet in m phone n i hv installed GPRS N MMS settings but still, n i think there is no problem with the network m using cos i called n they sent settings bt still.i think i hv pressed wrong buttons by mistake

i use this phone for 1 month ..please dont buy this mobile..korean mobiles are better than this ,vibrating not working .if u buy after seeing this comment.check each and every specification ex(calling ,ringtone ,vibrating etc)totally sony x10 sucks only look

i have this mobile since a month
a great device...but disappointing battery life which makes the mobile useless
for example if u sleep when the battery is 40% full you'll wake up and find it low battery 10% or less
the battery will never still working for one full day event if you but it on standby
