i'm using this phone for about 3 months now. the battery is fine, you should just turn off those applications you do not usually use. also, turn off gprs, bluetooth, wifi when not in use to save battery life. i played music with it using earphones for about 3 hours and only 15% of battery life was deducted. its a powerfull phone compared to its size.

I'm using this phone since last 6 months and it is absolutly working fine and I've not faced any issues.
U cannot expect long battery hours for Sony. It wont give more than a day on 2G. but its a good one.

u will get stuck in 2.1 if u buy this phone.....
but if u cant wait, u can go for this one ...this is pretty good phone too except it comes with a bad battery life.....

i've had the phone now for nearly 5 months now. gone from android 1.6 (donut) to 2.1 (eclair), and is now stuck (no future update, as per SE). so, there, no native app to sd feature, but you could transfer apps to sd using either Link2sd.apk (just install it, needs root), or app2sd (needs to manually install files to system folders, needs root as well).
enabled JIT as well, so my x10mp now runs a little bit faster, but some apps force closes, like aircontrol (a game). camera works nicely, you can get some great camera app from the market if the stock doesnt suit you.
got rid of the default 4-corners shortcut buttons, and went for LauncherPro, free from market.
great phone, highly customizable, but if you are shopping for a new phone, go for something else with android 2.2 on it. we are missing a lot now, being stuck on 2.1.

hi all
i wanted to give some information about the mini pro becouse i have it since 3 months ago
ingeneral looks nice for women more than men smart as well but it have many problems at the same time
after i became very expert in this phone i can say that the battery life is very very short even if you shut every thing the wifi the blutooth the screen time out it will not last for a night
the slide me market has lots lots of wonderfull apps and games but actually not all of them will go with your mini pro most of them they say ( force close ) after you try to use them then the device will stuck for few minuts
the size of the external memory now im using only 2 gega when i come to check the free space i find i have 214 mega free but if i download anything less less than the free space it doesnot take it and tell that there is no space !
the camera is not zooming and no one can lie about this blive me it will zoom only after you take the picture !
skype and face book are really nice and fast the connection of the wifi is well
the other probelm is the screen size i love it's size but rearly i descovered that it takes the games and the apps in thier oreginal size
so it doesnot fit the original size of the app to the mini pro size
for example i play hugry shark in it i canot see all the sides of the game from the sides but when i play it in my i phone 4 i see all the screen sides !
those are the main week points actually i love SE much and i have been using since long long but now im planning to change the mini pro by the N97.
if any one has any question about it im ready to answer

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2011it does not have a zoom feature...if u say taht it doesnt have a camera zoom, whatever, buy a photo camera.

its my fav cell ever i buy who dont know how to upgrade sone ericsson xperia x 10 mini pro go back to ur dealer and tell them to repare it he send back it in company and u will get it with new verision im living in france and i do and got my new sony ericsson xperia just love ya
