it's a nice mobile but it has only 2.1 android version and it cannot be upgraded.

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2011I just acquired this mobile a month ago but its discouragin... moremanage your application well, be sure to turn off your gps, agps, or wifi if not in need, anyways use 2g networks only if you really want to save battery, it should last 2 days minimum on extensive use and at least 4 days if you barely use it

for all those with battery problems, I really can't relate to you guys cause my battery life it 2 days minimum and roughly 4 days at best, for day to day use without data, you can simply opt for just 2g networks, always turn off your gps or agps or wifi, manage your applications, if your phone feels slower than the normal it is most probably running a program that you do not need, (I hate yahoo apps, actually they should only be active during data transmission or when they are required to run, I wish they would stop running in the background) It's all about managing your apps properly.

On my own experience if you just turn the 3G off the battery life will be prolonged, as far as you don`t really need 3G.

sonyx8 not good phone
many function not working
as follow no zoom cammera
no equqlizer
no edit playlist
no long battery back up
no picture resoulation
