Ahhh.. I hope that sony will release the froyo (hopefully gingerbread) to this phone.. If it is not, then I must have to save my money again to afford SE Arc (that also can be upgraded into honeycomb)

To use xperia x8 as modem download this file...it is a software called PDA net...

Make sure ur USB debugging is ON when u connect ur phone to PC...

and check the firm... moreThanks Prabash.now i know that my X8 android version is already 2.1 eclair. after do restart sending or receiving file via bluetooth is OK.
now need to download file manager it called astro FM. the only disadvantage now is there is no Java in X8 like in nokia N900 both need to download java from third party aplication, that should be a big file i guess!

Anto, 22 Jan 2011Just buy this X8 this morning. how can i know the adroid ve... moreI have heard that there is a problem when receiving files via bluetooth if you are using android 1.6..But I have never experienced that as I upgraded my phone to 2.1 as soon as I got it..
So I suggest you to upgrade it to 2.1..I guess it should solve your problem..:D

Just buy this X8 this morning. how can i know the adroid version in my X8 still donut or already eclair ??? never use adroid before, but i still remember when i use symbian *#0000# . i also got problem when receiving file via bluetooth, it always apear wrong memory space ! dont know what it does mean ? but so far i can send file via bluetooth to other phone without any problem ! help me please.... and thanks in advance
