I already have Eclair on my X8 but it doesn't allow me to back up my downloaded applications on my SD card. Good thing i was able to find an application that allows me to do it. Now I am more than happier with my phone. i have a 16GB SD card on my X8 and aside from pictures, movies and songs, I have a whole lot of applications, ebooks and live wallpapers installed on my memory card (I only have at around 6GB left as a free space on my SD card).
I'll be forever loving Sony Ericsson especially their Xperia line!

[deleted post]x6 is on Symbian os.. x8 is on android os..
now must see you like which os.. if you like Symbian than go for x6.. if you like android than go for x8.. =)

Hey guys ,,
I was using PDA NET to connect to internet in my LAPPY,,
Unfortunately i am unable to access secured web sites(due to expiry of trial version).In india only google accepts credit card purchase..
any other alternative for the same ???

the battery life is not good at first but after a month its alright! I love the new software 2.1, just go to sony ericsson website, eay steps to follow... :)
