I have just got this phone and to my shock , it doesnt have Android market installed. Im dumbfounded now as I cant install any app from market and the phone looks vevry dull to me. Is there a way I can install market manually? Appreciate your response. Thanks

I am just gonna update this phone to android 2.1. I would like to know whether the phone should be connected to internet via gprs or wifi when updating? or rather can I do it without a sim card inserted?

I have it , buying this phone is a mistake
instead , pay a little more and buy HTC Wildfire , which is very better than this X8
wildfire has 5MP camera , multi-touch support , upgradable to android 2.2 , 3.2" screen
but X8 has 3MP camera , no multi-touch , no froyo and 3" display

Speed of 85.6kbps is maximum downlink speed in case of four timeslots are occupied. That speed can be seen when a good radio conditions are present.
