Hey guys, does anybody know will there be any upgrade for X8 to 2.2? I am sure there will be no update to 2.3 gingerbread but atleast SE should provide us with 2.2

yes, i've got the newsletter from SE. now it's upgradable to eclair :-) but the price's getting higher and higher in indonesia, from around 200 dolllars now at 250 dollars.

this is 3g era n i dont undstand u r giving 3g option in general phones but not in smart phones i mean what sense it makes i want to buy x series phone but there in no sec camera so its the biggest drawback of it

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2010i boughat this phone with 1.6 i am try to update no update ... morego to sonyericsson.com (support section). and select your phone model. from there, u will be asked to download a software. download this software and follow it's instructions for your phone to be upgraded.

I have this phone for 1 week, and i was just realized there's something wrong with the proximity sensor.. When I receive a phone call, and take the phone to my ear, it's just turn off the screen (this one is right) but it also like turn off the signal! So I never succed in receiving a phone call.. I did the test with hidden menu and the proximity seems work well.. Is this a bug on donut? I haven't do an upgrade to eclair, but if i did, will it solve the problem? Or i just got faulty one? Is anyone having this problem?
