I just had this phone for 4 days. i have heating problems. the phone usually heats up. I brought it to service centre, they just told me that what they had to do is refresh the software after than i still have this problem. I'm So disappointed with Sony Ericsson, I bought this from them new, then they didn't even change it to a new one since the problem is with the phone.

pros of x8--
big screen,3 mp camera(clarity better than 5mp of yari).
30 fps videos stunning.
easy to handle (though bit thick).
responsive touch screen.
browsing is a delight on x8.
cons
-poor battery life.
-foryo must be needed in future.
-no play list in music player
-168 RAM

Gingerbread not supported as it needs minimum 1 ghz processor..

x8 user, 03 Dec 2010xperia x8 had many probs when bought, like restarting prob... moreso when u buy x8 u still have to update it from 1.6 to 2.1?

I just bought 1 it's good but no lurk touch and battery only one day.. wat should I do it can't play game like gangstar hero of sparrow and sandstonm.... can we use multi touch when update to 2.1.... thank for reply... please

xperia x8 had many probs when bought, like restarting problem when playing videos and keyboard stucks up while typing msgs, frequent crashes on playing games, frequent hanging with black screen, etc...but that was before the android 2.1 update...
after the adroid 2.1 update xperia x8 is pretty fast, no stucking up problems, no keyboard lagging problem,no restarting when playing videos, and now am 80% happy with my fone...
things that still need to be fixed are ,
slow picture album viewing, it is really very slow than before, little bit enhancement on the audio would have been better, still i cant hear the fone ringing when i keep it in loud....
as far as playing audio, i prefer powerAmp from android market...it is best player till now i have seen with good sound reproduction with equalizer, other best players in android market are mixzing and meridian player....
overall am happy with my fone...but still with more updates the phone will get better i guess...

can anyone comment about the android v2.1? is it better than the old v1.6? cox i see the forum of x10 and much of them complaint about it.....
