i just need the basics and the wifi. should i buy this??

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2010i really want to buy this one. but why do i read bad review... moreactually it's a good phone. but with my X8, it usually heats up. I had it checked to Sony Ericsson service centre and they told me that they had to refresh the software to see why that happened and had it monitored. After than i don't know what's the changes. i'll give u update with that.

I'm from Philippines.
Experia 8 is also available in our country.
I'm planning to buy x8.. could anyone tell me if this phone is great or not? Because I'm afraid I would regret if I buy one , basing all the comments that you have for this phone its a bad reviews.. so please help me to decide.

I uploaded my mobile with 2.1. Some features are changed but there is no surprises from SE this time. I observed a problem with 2.1 so far, the battery backup is not so good than before. But, the messaging and bluetooth file transfer were added. There is no way to change the icons to a different style(no themes can be changed, only default) The numbers are appearing a bit bigger than 1.6. To use this phone, internet is a must(3g or WIFI) because all most all applications run on internet. Update more observations soon,

d store guys told me to restart it daily for it will free up memoryblocks and deliver good performance

[deleted post]if u need bigger screen go for x8.
diff between two--mini-5 mp camera whereas x8 3.2(no flash,zoom).rest almost same.x8 scren bigger than mini.
battery back up is not up to mark for x8.
for heavy internet users,not recommended due to low battery backup...
