SE are useless. Why has it taken so long for the device to hit the shops from the the original announcement? As far as I'm aware, it's running exactly the same software as the X10 mini which was released a while back.
The OS is more than a year old and if we're lucky they'll update it to an eleven month old OS soon. Announced as Q3 release and there is still no official pricing or release date.
Come on SE, you've got fourteen days to hit your Q3 target.

A lot of nokia,htc,samsung phones is going to launch with new technoliges 8mp camera,3 blutooth,hd video recording,better os 2.2 froyo,fast internet,tv out,new graphics

[deleted post]hey all spec are similar in wildfire and x8 but there is a difference of screen resolution...
x8 has----480x320 and wildfire has----320x240
x8 has double resolution than wildfire
x8 has 600mhz processor and widfire has 528mhz
camera of x8 is better than wildfire...
in my oinion x8 is better look wise,screen wise and is cheaper than wildfire.....
when i will purchase x8 i will also buy an apple ipod headset for better quality of sound and look....
otherwise wildfire is a good phone, good performance.

everyone wants 4 inch touchscreen, 1ghz processor, 2.2 froyo, 512 ram, sgx graphics.......
is it true?
if true..then go for apple iphone,nexus one,galaxy9000, wave,milstone,desire......
why you are wasting your time here......
it is just a 200 euro phone...and have enough specification.....i love this phone.....

But no flash and autofocus is cons
But overall I m waiting eagerly 4 this
I think it would be release with android 2.1

Very disappointed, No FM radio, No LED or Xenon Flash, And very disappointed that no Video call. Now in India BSNL subscriber can make a video call for just 30 Paisa.(.0217 US $)..I wonder The team SOny ericsson is not seeing this ?????????

Android has yet to get there, the biggest problem is so many different hardware types and how easy it is to pirate the software. If I was an app developer I'd rather use Apple but if Android means making more cash and no cut to google, then it will eventually take off. But because theres no standard for Android, it will never be fully optimised for "all" handsets unless they finalise say 1.2ghz specific type CPU minimum for Android 3.2 or whatever. Theres plenty of dodgy Android handsets, resistive touch etc.

u cant compare the build quality of SE with any other brands. Its just awesome...this is going to be gr88 hit in the market....Just love it.....
