A rezistive touchscreen detects your finger by pressing the screen more or less (which changes the electrical rezistivity of a small circuit), so the cover screen has to be flexible and it's less likely to have touch gestures implemented, the capacitive detects the electrical charge in your finger so you need just to barely touch it to be detected.
I have a rezistive touchscreen on my phone and it's not such a drawback

nice phone, it will be far more better if it has more then 3.5 mega pixal cam. more over it does not has front camera too. But it is a nice budget phone...

sk, 08 Jul 2010guys, fyi..the phone has a 8mp camera spec and its not a 3.... moremy friend, where have you seen the specs of 8mpx camera? go to the s-e official site and check it out. please do not ever try to type stupid things before checking how's the deal...

more pixels doesn't necessarily mean that the picture quality is better, other factors like contrast, sharpness, depth of field and so on are also important
