Well, I'm using this phone for 4 mos. now and I'm very satisfied! It did serve my android gaming demands for now...this phone is an A+++ for considering it's price!

i nave muy xperia x8 with gingerDX v21 rom of xda developers and it's really smoothest, 100% recomended :D

I have upgraded the version of my X8 from 2.1 (Eclair) to 2.3.7 (Gingerbread's latest version) and here's what I have got:
1. Walkman Player (from W8).
2. Mobile Bravia Engine (Image quality enhancer for photos and videos)
3. X-Loud (Enhance the Loudness of Speaker)
4. Lockscreen can be customized (sliding tab, rotary, rotary revamped, lense, ring)
5. Ultra Brightness
6. DSP Manager (Bass Booster)
7. Can save the applications to my SD Card.
8. and many more...
I did not regret buying this phone. I am now waiting for an ICS upgrade for this phone.

Gingerxperia, 01 Jan 2012There's nothing illegal about upgrading to a custom android... moreyes it is not illegal to upgrade your phone into a custom android os, but it can void your warranty if it still on warranty. even rooting your android phone can void your warranty.

Amjad, 05 Jan 2012Please help me to chose the mobile phone which is good for ... moreGo for galaxy mini for better android version (upgradable on gingerbread 2.3.6) and larger screen (3.14 inches-240x320 pixels-256K colors). xperia x8 only have 2.1 eclair and 3.0 inches screen but has higher resolution(320 x 480)and more colors(16M colors). you can install apps in your sd card in both units.

Please help me to chose the mobile phone which is good for its functionality, durability Samsung-Mini Glaxy S5570 or Soney Ericson-Experia X8? Can v install applications/softwares directly on Memory Card or not? Both sets have big disadvantages that is FLASH LIGHT!!!!!!! I am leaving in Pakistan plz help me. Thanx
