i'm a user of x8. if you have other choice, steer away from x8. however, if you still wanna use it, this phone can be extremely magnificent on its own way.
i'm still using it, and still love it. just a few must-have apps for better x8:
Autokiller: kill apps for free ram
Juice Defender: increase battery life significantly
Apps Organiser: properly tag your apps, easirer to access
Link2SD: move apps to SD to free x8 internal memory.

hey guys, if you don't know how to use this phone don't blame it, now to reply your questions :
1. You can mark things with menu key, all , selected or none
2. You can explore Memory card with Astro File Manager free on Market
3. You can create playlists in 10 ways just learn to use this phone, for example use Media2Go or use a software like PowerAMP or other freewares
4. You can change themes, google it damn it
5. You can set wallpaper in fit mode using wallpaper wizardii
6. Next time buy Nokia 1100 and stop blaming good phones.

not that impressive.. u cannot create a playlist, u cannot mark things, canoot change themes, difficulty in changing wallpapers according to size... not impressive

Any file manager, such as astro from the market can explore the directory structure and files on the memory card.

chang, 27 Oct 2011I bought ericson x8 yesterday I charged it until the charge... moreContinue charging, even after the led turns green. it turns green when charge gets to 90%. Charge until 100%.
The battery gets better after about 10 full charge/discharge cycles.
Intall and use ATK to close down unwanted applications.

There is no option to explore the memory card from the phone. You cannot browse the memory card.

I bought ericson x8 yesterday I charged it until the charger light detector turned green, then I played games for 30 mins and my husband tried to browse too, i wonder why the battery easily drained.. is this normal?

Get the Samsung Galaxy Y instead. it is more updated. Hardware is also much better. The Xperia X8 is pretty much in a dead end situation with sony right now. Although custom Roms can improve it, the Samsung still has the better hardware. Give it a bit of time and lots of apps will come out for it. :)
