This phone is briliant,
i have it 1+1/2 half years now and i never had any kind of problems,
thats a rare thing comparing it with other SE and nokia i had before,
they really built a solid phone
and its features manage to keep up competition too long!!
There is isnt a real reason to make un upgrade just for the numbers.
I ve seen phone with 256k display and 1.3MP cam and i m not impressed,
there is no big dif
but i might consider a good offer when i see it, otherwise Z1010 is just fine and those crystal clear 74polyphonic tones are still waiting to be beaten.

Hy! i got a problem too... 3 mb on phone memory!! I saw other sites and saw that phone memory is supposed to be 4 mb... strange... very strange... at least the 32 mb card is pretty good

I also have a free memory problem. Info shows that I have 2.8 mb free but i installed nothing. Formating memory stick didn't help so, any ideas?

I have had this phone for now about half a year. I'm having a lot of trouble with it just disconnecting my calls.... The UMTS/EDGE doesn't work at all and it is too large and heavy! It got all kinds of functions, but all the tech. stuff doesnt do it when its so buggy and big!

That's the memory stick screwing up. Buy a usb memory stick reader, drag all your crap onto a folder on your computer, and format the memory stick. Drag it all back on to the memory stick and you should have your memory back.

The Z1010 doesnt support HTML, or have a HTML browser, just WAP, and xHTML.
You can go to www.mobile9.com and use the id number from their themes/wallpapers/ringtones(midi/wav/mp3)/videos, go to their wap site, which is wap.mobile9.com and type in the id number and download for FREE!!!

You cant use anything but phone tones for sms, but your can use any format for ringtones. The Z1010 can recognize attatchments of most formats, mp3/wav/midi/bmp/gif/jpg, enabling you to download the mail, oipen and save the attatchment, and use it as ringtones/wallpaper etc.
Very handy!!

i have sonyericsson z1010. i bought it because of umts signal. i use it for internet and i am very disapointed. my phone is working and not. i must doing my conection to the internet every day. before i had siemens mc60 and was working perfect, but was slow for using it like a modem. i stil didnt manage to download mp3 from my computer to the phone.

Why does my phone only have 2.1 mb total of memory ? Doesn't it suppose to be 32 mb share ? Why's that ?
