well the phone looks good. The battery is really BAD. The picture quality the same. I love the side lights, you can choose what you want.
sony something needs to be done about the batteries

I bought this phone 5 days ago. I have had no problems with it at all. The battery is an unusual thing, not fully charging. I think it has developed a memory. Nothing a good discharging won't fix. I am yet to buy a USB cable or a Bluetooth adapter. I am very satisfied with the pictures it takes. Only improvements I would make is; expandable memory(14 MB is good), Change the display on the outside of the phone, so you see your reception and battery levels and then I would add a flash or a light to the camera.
Otherwise, I give this phone a 9.5 of 10

This phone is a nice looking phone and the features are pretty good but as everyone is saying, the battery life is bad. And coming from me who only pretty much has the phone in standby, it is quite bad. For me, the battery life went down 20-30% each day. I bought it in May and i just bought the Samsung E250 and its heaps better than this phone

Bad battery.It lasts only 2 days with 10 min of talk. I would not buy this phone again if i knew how poor is the battery. Although i like SE i am very disappointed in this phone due to its battery. I will report it faulty and keep u all informed. I have the phone from July 07.

I bought this phone brand new from Virgin Australia, and i have had nothing but problems....the battery is terrible. It lasts one day only on standby, and never fully charges. Ive tried my Optus SIM in it, and it has the same problem. So dont believe what the previous writer wrote that the battery life depends on the provider. not true. The phone is faulty. I rang Sony Ericsson and they said the phone battery shouldnt be doing this. im going to return the phone today.

From the first moment i saw it, i fell in love :D i have only 2 objections: 1 the battery doesn't last long and when it showed 93%, i just unplugged and plugged it back... it doesn't last long, but i can manage. 2 they should have put the option of changing the base memory into smth bigger. :D if u rotate the image, you can see it better on the phone screen, so i am very pleased of the camera, and the pics look great on the pc :D

i was wondering if u can change the name of the phone.. you know when you open it and at the top of the screen there is a FIDO written, can u change that?

My wife used it for about 2 months: a very good phone overall for the price (EUR79), but battery is strange: it would not charge beyond 93% and last little considering how basic the phone is. External display with its ikons rocks! There are several games in demo mode pre-installed that I cannot delete, since they are bulls**t and take up the memory that is not at all plentiful. Does anyone know how to delete them to free up memory?

I was wondering, if when the phone is closed, and you are receiving a call. Does the front display display the persons name or just their number. assuming that you have caller display?? thanks in advance

There is no way to play an eAAc+ file on this phone. I've tried with one from my Nokia 5300. There doesn't seem to be a media player in this phone since *.gp3 doesn't work either.

Could someone please tell me do those icons at the top of the external display stay on untill you open the phone and check your missed calls/messages?
I hate phones that I have to "activate" all the time when I want to check out possible missed calls. This phone would suit me very well if those icons are backlighted all the time...
