For people who bought the second hand phone, I suggest you use the master reset. But if you ask me, I do not recommend buying a second-hand phone, unless it is in "mint" condition or "almost brand new condition" or "slightly used".

few days ago, i've bought d fone coz someone had stole my LG KG320...uhuk..uhuk...i bought d 2nd hand one. did anyone knows how to delete some of d protected file?...i mean some files dat being downloaded n protected...or do i hv to fomat d fone instead...

does anybody know where you can buy the usb cable & covers? i live in Belgium & i don't know where there is a Sony Ericsson shop? can u also buy it in a regular phoneshop? & also i have problem with removing the front cover, it's stuck & if i use 2 much power i'm scared it will broken? can anybody help me? thnx

the one who's asking about bluetooth;
1.you have to buy a bluetooth stick
2.then you have to download the software
3.then you put the stick in de usb exit
4. Open bluetooth in your cellphone
5. searh for other bluetooths

I have had this phone for almost a year and it works well. Im thinking either you didnt take care of your phone well enough or you just have a bad one. The only problem is I think there should be a bit more memory and the picture taking button on the outside takes pics when i dont want to. But i know it does that because there is pressure on the button so it takes a picture. But overall I like it because it has the recording thing so you dont have to buy songs and it has bluetooth. I would give it a 8.2 outta 10

I think this phone's image is literaly smacked down by this comments. i have this phone for over 8 months and is working great. the memory can be larger if you delete some aplicattions ...so starting with 16 mb you can end up with 18 . is not much but is something. the mp3 player is GREAT. the saoun is very good and very loud.is has a fast procesor too , easy menu , perfect for navigating on the internet . yea...the camera is not so good but hey...nobody is perfect , nobody can do it all. the design is great , is a litght weight phone..is just great. i dont understand wh you guys are saying about the camera button or about freezing because i havent had these problems...and i want to tell you that i dont take care of my phones. and its still resist. i tjink if anyone who is planing to buy this phone and he is looking at this comments he will change his mind...and is not good . the peoples should buy this phone and not listen this comments....because he or she will might regret it..or worse he could end up with a far more worse phone than this one is .so buy this phone dont hesitate looking at these comments. just buy it and you wont regret it .

Yeah, I agree with most of you guys that the camera is not top notch compared to the other cellphones (especially from Nokia).
Also, there seems to be no way to turn off the sound the shutter produces whenever you use the camera.

I have the exact same problem too. Phone worked fine for about 6 months, then suddenly the display just went all white, the outer display still works, but the phone is practically useless now... except maybe as a fancy watch ^_^

Well that tears it... they fixed the camera button, which was great... but I'm experiencing a blank screen now too. Even better - the outside screen still works. WTF??

To the one asking about the USB and computer connectivity, this phone and the W800 got the same charger and data cable. If cable's not available, use bluetooth. It's quite convenient. Of course if we are comparing z520i from the very popular w800i, the later is of course better in almost all aspects.

Had phone for one year and out of the blue the screen went dead. Right after the warrenty expired. I will never buy a sony phone again.

well i've had this phone for a short while and it is treating me well thus far, i still believe that the memory cud be increased cuz i upload a lot of music. overall good phone!!!

hey just wanna ask where is the usb in this fone? does it eally have one? the store where i bought my fone said this fone got no usb and how come the specification claimed that indeed there is? can anybody please answer my question?........pls......thanks a lot

In think that this phone is very good. I got it for christmas 2005 so all these people whos broke within the first few months must have just have had a bad batch of them.
I do agree that the camera is a bit blury at first but if you go onto the settings you can change it and the camera then takes a better picture.
Th video can also be changed (it is altered to be sent by MMS)
I must admit that the memory isnt very good especially if you are trying to store music.
Then I found the record tool. You can record for a large ammount of time and it doesn't take up as much space.

though bad specs, the keypad i must say is the best of the best, fastest typing on a phone 've ever done, the keys are soft and big enough and its easy to press without any resistence, well done on the keypads :)

the same happened to me. 6 months of use and the display went blank. I wont buy any sony cellphone ever again

Waste of money.... After every 3 months the screen would go blank. So much hassle for repairs took them one month. Consider Asus V66 or Sony W810 instead.

I love the camera,although I must admit the picture quality is not the best, so that's why I have a digitial camera.
