interpolated 2be 1.3 MP is true, but interpolated is not the real censor of camera, thus only extending from VGA quality. not improve quality of pic just make bigger...

hi s9mx,as u can read in my earlier opinions abt Z530,i hav mentioned that its a ph with nice sound,easy to handle,a catchy one.but i brougt this cell as i found it 2b attractive and probably for a camera which says that it can b interpolated 2 1.3mp.but thats not true my friend.so if u want a phone that is cheaper,nice sound quality,easy to use but to say with a poor camera so go for Z530.but if not go for S700I.

I absolutly agree, if want a camera, I'll visit a camera site. I'm here because I want a phone. The Z530i is cheap, makes calls and fits in my pocket & that's what I need. I would however welcome an opinion on the user interface (ease of navigation, etc.), which is IMHO a more important issue.

to say this ph camera is bad, too emotional
depends on ur setting. in the night you must set night mode or increase ur light. in the sunny day too bad if u set in night mode.

if u wanna buy camera so must go to an site which hav a camera on it.u must not be surfing this kind of site tht hav mobile ph on it.and for ur kind info,i own 1 of z530.and im kind of got stuck with it so to help u guys im telling u tht u must not own 1 of ths kind and go for W 550.that wud be a better choice.

hi friends,i am a die hard fan of sony ericsson mobiles.ihad my all 3 mobiles of sony,t290,k 700,and now i am stuck with this worst ever ph manufacture bu sony Z530.
i must say that it seems to b catchy but the worst part is the camera the vga camea is utmost to its worst resolution.i had a k700 which has 1000 times more better camera than ths crap.
i honestly belived u sony and brought this ph but bcoz of its camera im stuck with it.
SO PLZ DONT BUT THIS PHONE GET STUCK WITH IT BCOZ ITS CAMERA......

M2 card is now available in Brunei but too bad its not yet 'for sale' ermm... I think they have to wait for stock or something maybe.. and its very very small.. and it cost BND 100+.. cant wait for M2 as music quality of this phone is great.. and I want to store as much music I want into this phone..
cute.. after this.. I'll wait for the sytle up cover..

2) I think it can download MP3 in any size.
3) How long can the battery last while playing MP3?
It depends on the volume of speaker phone and the watt of speaker.
the battery of this phone is 900 mAh, similar to Z520, W550 etc....
4) Can it record up to one hour of video and is it 176*144?
it can't record video too long but can record voice unlimited
5) How many MB can store these following:
a) one thousand pictures ---> depend on the quality of pic
b) One hour of video---> not applicable
c) One hour of voice---> not tried yet
6) Is the screen brighter than K700i?
I don't know but the contrast of this phone is okay
7) How much is 512MB and 1GB Memory Stick Micro at shops and is it expensive than 512MB and 1GB MicroSD?

guys once agian this phone is packed wiht so much things , i just checked and it says on sony ericsson website that this phones play mp4 so u can even watch videos or even movies if u have a m2 upto 1 gig like i have. man agin this is one the best ever by sony. i dont know y people complian about the camera man i got so many good pics which are quiet clean and when on msn display it looks good so go for this phone

man this phone is a bomb, it has everything for al the new phones and it beats razr v3i for sure , i bought this phone yesterday and loving it. if u want a grt phone wiht everything go for this phone

a tip for using the camera in dark or indoors: increase the brightness / or use the "night mode". another tip for great outdoor pics: use hi-res mode, decrease the brightness (volume button down) and see the dramatic change! :) cheers.

I have bought theis mobile phone last week aftre one day i feel the i have thrown my 9000 pakistani rupies in the sea.its camera is not good the camera rsult of SE K300i is better then this mobile phone its screen resulation is very bad and most of these phones gets hang while playing music or video.making these phones i thing sonyericsson manufacturers are getting their standred down and popularity of their mobile are also decreasing.in simple words dont purchase theis mobile phone.u will be kicking u r self.

Wow.. That is a simple word that i can describe for this phone.. FOR MYR 550.00(malaysian ringgit) == or 157.00 USD.. it is simply superb.
The level of user-friendliness is very out standing.. Comparing to MOTOROLA L6 & L7.. this phone is much more better.
The speaker of the phone is muchly fair, it could not beat W550i.
The camera setting is simple and easy to understand. Only thing, it is not a good camera under low-light condition. It has plenty of noise under low-light condition.
The UBC screen is considered okay, almost as good as TFT.. :) Believe me..
I would encourage those who wants a simple phone that has, camera, bluetooth, infrared, expandable memory with an average budget. To go for this phone..
