interpolated means widening size of actual pic. it is used for printing a larger size but actually (it is similar to the previous quality). interpolated is done by software in the phone merely such as digital zoom. whereas optical zoom is done by hardware (lens optic not software). I think M2 is not microSD. it is new product by sony, may be in the future it can be a popular product

Hi there can someone plz tell me if the M2 memory is the same as sd micro as there is a war going on in my home one saying its the same as its micro and one saying no its different, so can you plz help me settle this feud.

The fone is quite cheap and has got all the features needed. I was going to buy z520i, but now i will be buying this one.

the phone has got a vga camera which takes pictures of the resolution 640*480.. when in the extended mode the camera transforms itself into a 1.3 mega pixel one...the images taken will be blurry in the extended mode...

in the comments in holland the bad quality of the sound of receiving is mentioned, this should be not loud enough. can anyone tell me his/her experience?

My old LG phone already caput,went 2 buy Z520i,give problem ofter 7 days use, sent back and repair but can't wait for two week and buy another one Z530i, woooo it good can down load every thing, thanks 4 the Memory stick 256MB.only one i don't like ,i can't take my own photo,not like Z520i.Overoll out of 10, 8 given 2 this new phone.

Just using this phone for 1 week.
I don't know wheather if every body noticed it, but if you alter the picture quality to 'fine' mode for camera function, I think the result is good enough (default setting is 'normal' mode).
Basicly, I satisfy with this phone (I'm not d one which using camera so much, u want good picture then get a digital camera intead of phone camera).
Sound quality very good. U can use any mp3/wav/mid song or sound for SMS ringtone (this is new, cause on K508 I use previously, no such feature).
FM radio? - no need such thing.
I do like the keypad design, easy to use. I dont understand why somebody call it terrible.
1000 phonebook address with multinumber, nice, very usefull feature.
U want more value, please get this phone.

Was going to get a z520i as it was listed as 100% compatable with my tomtom go 510. Couldn't find any for sale near me but I saw the Z530i which looks like a slightly updated version. Does anyone know if this phone is also compatable and how compatable is it? Unfortunatly tomtom dont update their compatability list as often as I would like.

the funtionality of this phone is really good .... too bad if it has a bigger screen and better camera , it would be great !
anyway i dun like the small screen and the small size of the handphone ... prefer those japanese style phone where they are bigger and look cooler ..
will settle for SE Z800i ...

Hope someone can help me out here. Everytime I plug in the phone using the USB cable, the phone starts charging while I'm transfering files. How do I stop this USB charging function?
