to the person who asked how much the additional memory cards are in Australia...
From Dick smiths , according to their website a SONY M2 1GB Micro M/Stick Pro is $119.95.
Its not a bad price really. Most memory cards of 1GB are around that price.

Has anyone managed to update java applications using bluetooth? I'm considering whether to purchase a BT dongle to transfer files to this phone or to buy a USB connection.

the package does NOT come with a usb cable, and the sound projection is not loud at all, even on the highest volume you need the phone to be on vibrate when it's in your pants' pocket, otherwise you'll miss your call. that said, these are the only two downsides to the phone (keys are not ideal for texting either, but they're okay once you get used to them). i've had the phone for about a month now and i'm really pleased with it.

does the package contain a USB cable (makes a big difference to me)? if not, the phones jus not worth it. as it is, the phone does'nt come wot a mem card. wouldnt wanna increasing its cost by buyin a cable too. n how loud is the ringer compared to the 6230i or any other popular Nokia model ?

To Darren:
It is a kind of rather bright pearly white.

To (no name):
There are 2 holes you can use. One is the left hinge (top left of the phone) and another is at the bottom, and under the battery cover.
