does the battery life last long? and how many songs can be store in z710?

great phone! mp3, playlist, fm radio, 2MP cam, good speaker, good bass, mp3-to set ringtones and message tones, and a lot more!
downs: external LCD display do not function when the phone is open... it will only light as blue background.

iam now using z710i. i really enjoy using this phone. 3g is useless for me since im not into video calling or live video streaming. im after with the cam, radio, flip phones, and mp3 player. my only comment on this phone? the external display doesn't have any features to be functional when you flip-open the phone except when the call connection is succeeded. nevertheless, i do much enjoy z710i than my previous v3x and n70.

This phone seems amazing i just bought it yesterday and i am loving it i hope there is no difference between the w710 and the z710 besides the fitness part.

ringtones also work with wma for me. thanks to whoever posted that! I was so pissed at my phone for not letting me use mp3 ringtones. Just my opinion of this phone, I was using a nokia 6230i and only switched because the sony had a warranty and it was free, also the 6230i battery life was terrible but after using the sony, i like the nokia much more, its way easier to use and there's lots of little things about the sony that I don't like. Its sad because I"m comparing the sony to a phone released in 2005 q1. also, with similar use, the sony is only good for two days at the very most. Just my opinion.

Why is it not being sold HERE in singapore? my opinion is the service providers here think it might over-power the W710 in sale numbers.
that sucks... i love this phone.. think the walkman one is just for show. anyhoot hope sony will push Z710i for sale here....

i buy alot of mobiles cause i find it hard to find 1 i like.
i had no trouble when i brought the w710i & my husband has the z710i, we had no problems when sending bits from old mobile to our new sony ericsson via bluetooth, everything sent 1st time, so no there is not a problem with the sending or recieving via bluetooth with either of these phones.
it has been said that if you have a motorola phone then its not sending via bluetooth as it does not seem to reconise the phone but this happens alot with motorola when trying to use bluetooth!!!

although it says the w710i is a fitness phone, all it has is a section for counting your steps, running etc, this can be turned off if not needed so will just be like any other walkman phone

yes the mega bass is the only difference but in the w710i you can select your own playlist so you can play the songs that you like in your order, the z710i does not have this option so it will just play any music or text alerts cause it will not know the difference when you play the music

is the z710's media player as good as a walkmans except that it has no megabass? please help me out i need to decide from w710 and z710. i love music phones and clamshells. id like walkman clamshell with no sports. i can afford any (w710 and z710)

there is no minute minder, at least i could not find it in phone.
this is fine for a girl or boy although you can buy in a beige colour as well on some websites & argos also sell in beige if you live in the uk

its seems if this is brought in the uk the mp3 work as ringtones & message alerts but some other countries are having trouble with setting them
