does this phone have an answering machine? answering machine and voice mail are different.. i have a friend who has a phone which is samsung SGH 490 that has an answering machine in one of its menu in its messages.. i'm just curious if sony ericsson has one.. please please reply especially to those users of this phone.. thanks so much!!!

By the way, I carry this phone often in my pocket with keys, and in 4 month time there is no single scretch. This is the result of minimalistic external design and use of good materials.

Owh ya forgot. Actually i got a few question about this phone model.
1. what is the price range of this phone if possible in ringgit malaysia. thought of buying a pair of it. hehehe
2. is it good for texting?
3. what about the casing / clam shell? is it easily scratch or not. if yes then i need to buy a cover for it.

Can I ask anybody that has already bought this phone, is the external screen sufficient when there is an incoming call to the phone? the name that is calling is displaying properly on the screen?

Update: Well, I have updated to the latest firmware and to my big surprise the battery life has gone exponentially up! Before the update I had to recharge the phone every other day (like a smartphone). Now it lasts more than a week with a normal usage! Nice update SE. By the way, don't forget to backup everyting before you do a software update! Have fun!

I got this phone about 3 months ago... I didn't have any problem with it until now... and the keypad is way better than the W580 one, at least it doesn't crack. I'm satisfied with SE for once at last, I was never a fan of it before...
