if it wasnt free from logos, then it would show it in the picture...I really dont think it will have a logo on it, but I guess we will see...

Well guess what guys..
Here in Denmark, the phone is in stores on Friday 6th May, which is two days from now, and it's only coming to 3. 3 is a phone company like Vodafone, and it's located in UK, Denmark, Sweden. Italy. And it will carry the 3 logo, just like the vodafone logo. So it's not free from logos as we all expected. but it's cheap, around 90$ and 40$ per month for 6 months, then your free from them..
But it sucks with the logo!!!

How do you see the other party if there isn't any handfree option available? Does it mean one has to purchase a handfree bluetooth accessory in order to see the other party?

oh by the way... the 14th may 2005 is the OFFICIAL SINGTEL release in singapore ^_^
so even if u ask official retailer they will give you somewhere around that date probably 2 days b4 that date ^_^
if u went to the SE sneak peek last weekend... u got a voucher from singtel (discount voucher for Z800i) and it states that Z800i will be available in May 14th 2005
that's must be official hehehe

i have no idea when the phone will fall below those prices.... but i would definitely get this phone latest the end of may...
for comparison between this phone and sharp one is a tough decision hehehehe

Thanks for the quick response. great to know that Singtel will have the phone by ealry May, but by any chance would you have any idea of what price range the phone would fall under, e.g. $700 + $800-$900, $900-$1000, $1000+.

I wonder why they dont tell us when they are gonna be released...is it just incase there is a problem and they have to postpone the release, and so the public cant complain if it doesnt come out on time?
If anyone wants to find out where they can buy one, just email your local sony ericsson and I'm sure they would be able to help...thats what I do for the correct info about a product.

this phone will be released in 14 may 2005 according to the SE sneak preview last weekend.
I presume this phone will be surely available in Singtel (since the sneak preview is sponsored by singtel in conjunction of david tao showcase)
but for the retailer i am not too sure... if mobilesquare (www.mobilesquare.com.sg) have z800i i will buy from them else i will find the cheapest store and if no store selling this phone then i buy from singtel lor ^_^
i am very despo for this phone liao hehehe

i live in the United States and am tryin to get either one...v or z800 but it hasn't come here yet...someone emailed me saying that they sell a lotta cell phones and they're sellin the v800 for $300 which is half the price....its brand new and unlocked...u guys think dis is a good idea??? gimme some help pls....

The differens are that the V800 only sales thrue Vodafone and that you cannot use your own mp3 music as a ringtone. Bonus:You won´t need to see Vodafones extremly uggly menysystem. That is the differens that i know of. at least i Sweden.

The price in Sweden are set to be 3795:- SEK whitout subscription... Realy sheap if you ask me...

The Z800 will in All 3Stores on 5:ft of may in Sweden, if the software are aproved by 3:s scandinavian CEO Shlomo Liran....

No one really knows when this phone is coming out, but we would all like to know...I dont know how it works, but I assume that it will be coming out at different times in different countries.
I wanna know how much the thing will cost.
