well... of course i was answering to one particular person!! plz... i was a fan of this phone too lor... just tt i find it not quite practicalto buy a three G phone now... to tell u the truth... i am a hp lover... i study all of them... read nearly all of their reveals so i was just angry when bo asked a question that isnt very smart

I just got the japanese verion of this phone. The reception seems to be very poor compared to my old phone (k700). Is anyone else having similar problems?

Well guys, i called a cellphone shop here in Denmark, and the owner told me that the SE sent him a Model of Z800i to try it and tell the SE firm what he thinks about it, i also asked him about the launch date of this device, while no one gave me a date. He told me this phone is comming between the 3rd of May and expected Max 17th May if it was delayed, thats 17th of May Max.. And i ran up with an interessting site that has tested the phone. Better check it out. Oh And it has a 5MB Internal memory, thats what the guy told me, and it is also written in this site.. check it out!!!

By the way 'to bob' we all know its exactly like the V800 and we know its just the non-vodafone version...if you had read the other msgs we posted, then you would know that.

Why don't you flash it to z800 then? Newer software. More features... picture caller id.. no mp3 restriction. All good ^^
Alternatively have you tried using DRM packaging? check www.mobile9.com forums for help with the DRM packaging.. their method works.. ^_^ Cheers

Let "To Bob" have his opinion. If he doesn't like this phone.. his loss.. I say the screen is bigger than K700 etc.. Big enough... And I LOVE MY Z800!!! SO there.. :D

well... i happen to come across its review in another hp web site... and by the way... even if u don IQ u should have some common sense... it is exactly the same with v800... the only diff is tt it is not a vodafone... and if a phone with out internal memory... it cant work .... unless u are talking abt a first generation phone...

screen size is too much small. 1.8 inch. as t610/630, k700. i prefer larger screen, as s700.

Please someone help. I have the 802se how can I play mp3s? I tryed the euro flash, the dm route and a little voodoo. Still no luck. $10 paypal to the best answer...

Hey, I read on a website somewhere that the Z800 will be coming out end of April/beginning of May and will cost $550-$600 American...I assume it was an American site but I cant be sure. So I dont know exactly when it is coming out in other places...hopefully it wont be too long after. I did contact Sony Ericsson here in Australia and they told me that it would be comnig out between now and June...but thats all they said. I hope its sooner than later, because I have been waiting for this phone since like Jan or Feb, and I desperatly want it NOW!

I recently purchased a Z800 Sony Ericsson in HK, but unfortunately I was given the V800 software. How do i get the Z800 Software.
I also spoke to the Sony Ericsson customer support in the UK, but they tell me that this model is yet to be launched in Europe.
Any idea as to how I cpould find the Z800 software?
