when its having a SLIDER PROBLEM why to take risk. Warrenty is NO USE bcoz NO SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE in service centers even in Mumbai City think about 2 tier cities and 3 tire cities???

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2010ya in Sony never go for Slider Mobile....i have a w995 which is a v old hp.. i use it for so long and keep droppping and thats nth wrong with it... it's still wking fine exp that i've change to x10.. cos my handset is old.. so 1 product's fault does not mean all model is at fault.. so gt this clear..

so its not a phone prob... morepeople, try updating u r phone using SEUS.
mine felt louder after the update.

it was a problem with the sony ericsson assembly unit in delhi,as far as i know the problem is just in india.
all the phones reported at service centers with slider problem (actually the problem is with the slider's flux)
comes under warranty claim and are replaced for free...if reported within warranty period
the reason for the wait is that sony is importing the flux part outside of india inorder to maintain optimum quality and it takes time....
ofcourse sony identified the manufacturing defect in the assembly line and has corrected it..
all the phones that are either made or imported after last week of october OR those ones coming in the 3 new colors: energetic black,nebula red,meteorite white are super fine sets without any problems....
just make sure u get a made in november piece when u buy it.and dont judge the phone just with it....
and why r some saying 'dont take a slider from sony'??
i am using a w580 still now for almost two1/2 years dropped it atleast a 100 times and the set is working fine with no display or software problems till date......

hey all. the prblme is solve for this phone. it has slider problem tht is accepted bt now its over. so frinds go fot this phone.its such a nice phone. now dnt worry abt slider. i hav use it

FAILURE MODEL, Its slider is NOT WORKING and receiving lots of problems, pls check with some service centers.
I gave to service in Mumbai 2 MONTHS BEFORE, but NO SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE STILL. work order no SE310KT115608. Pls call sony helpline n check this info 1800111800. YET ANOTHER FAILURE MODEL.

Its keypad is good
easy to text msgs
keys are well spaced out
mine is working fine no problem at all

video call is just a feature in 3g networking...
a lot of 3g phones including zylo advises to use back camera for video calls,its just part of decrasing the price
