How it will perform in the upcoming test, it should have 52mp and should have a bigger battery but all the specs are good enough to match s10

down grade on selfie cam, meh not using much too. freaking tall (9mm taller than xzp), no more front facing speaker (sad), 4k oled (yeah~), 3300 mah (no~), no AUBE and 12mp max camera on 3 of them. (include wide angle is a yea for me, telephoto, meh). OIS (yea~). no 3.5mm(no~) camera quality(waiting review) ,fps back to side mount (yea~), side sense (maybe yea? can launch two apps with 1 click) did they remove the dynamic vibration system ?
see people, this is what you want for a trend, bezel less huge screen, freaking thin phone. what have to been sacrificed ?

I am a Compact fan, like many other Sony fans here.
I guess we'll all buy a Pixel 3 after all...

They included 4K screen thats great but,
Small 3300 mah battery
64 GB base model
No headphone jack
No 52 MP camera they talked about
Only 8 MP front camera, and all this for around 900 euros? That's a big no lol.

Now this is a flagship phone and Sony are very good at making sensor e.g. there new 48mp sensor so how come they haven't used it on this device??

Sony! I don't mind your price. Please bring the phone that have 4k HDR OLED screen with the big and hight quality Camera, not just 12MP And 4000+ battery with nice design. I still waiting u.

I'm a Philips and Japanese company fan, but since few years we have in Switzerland / Europe only Sony as Japanese Mobile company. Therefore, now I've the nice Xperia XZ2 Premium and I will buy this Xperia 1 in nice color(Purple or other, not Black or White). Only despite by very late date of release....

The biggest battery Sony ever put in a phone was the 3540MaH in the xz2 premium, why stop with the tiny batteries now, amirite? Also this phone is taller than Burj Khalifa. Was really expecting something brilliant this year from Sony following their best phone ever, the XZ3.

I actually own the XZ2 which is an amazing phone..
The 1 will be another flop sadly..
Screen is too damn big and a 21:9 aspect ratio.
3300 mAh is tiny considering it has a 4k screen.
Sadly no one will buy this.. If I want gimmicks, I will buy Samsung.. If I want performance I buy Sony but not with the 1.
Sorry Sony.
