Anonymous, 10 Aug 2019The problem will be with your carrier and its band frequencies. I have resolved. The problem was that IMEI was not registered in ATT prepaid account.
Once I registered my device's IMEI on the system, It works.
I hope it would be helpful for you guys.

i took my first mobile phone experience from a sony phone and that was so fantastic...superb performance...actually i dont remember the model...i guess it as sony xperia v...with a 1 gb ram...although the ram is not enought it doesnt stuck or chop...like samsung ones...i've experienced the differences between samsung and sony phones which are having the same ram but it doesnt make sense...i love sony phones..

I'm using this phone on Verizon and so far no network problems. I didn't try att. I don't know about that. I use OnePlus 7 pro on att also. I do love both phones, but Xperia 1 is more comfortable to hold in one hand. I just love it

Now I'm using Xperia 1 dual sim unlocked version (J9110) in the U.S., and the carrier is AT&T prepaid unlimited data plan.
However, when I inserted sim card to slot 1 and slot 2 either, 4G LTE is not working with both slots of the phone, but 3G is only working.
Is somebody else knowing the reason why this situation has been happened and how can I resolve this problem?

Been using for two weeks now, excellent in most regards (having got used to the fingerprint scanner i feel more positive about it now)
Only minor complaint is that the Dolby Atmos setting for the speakers isn't on by default, got the shock of my life when i decided to peek into the sound settings whilst watching netflix one night, the sound blew me away after turning it on.
Overall i would wholeheartedly recommend this device, hits every one of my personal smartphone essentials (camera features, clean software, good oled, decent battery life) and with the price I pay for it every month for it i'm more than happy (I work for a mobile provider and get a staff discount but oh well)

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2019huawei did it in 2015 with honor 7i. Its old technologyHonor 7i side mounted fingerprint scanner isn't the good placed, seem their component for the flip-up camera occupy the right side of the phone. Xperia fingerprint scanner is ergonomic placed since Xperia Z5.

Xperia 1 target market is for people who do cinematography, photo and movie-consuming, and people who love to take lots of videos with their phones. They admit it won't sell a lot compared to ROG or Huawei, but they did successfully on their niche target, for now.

ASUS ROG II is better with more powerful hardware and cheaper price, more battery, HIGH quality design !!! why we paid. Why spend so much on Sony toys?

My best pal has this phone and he handles its marvellous frame with grace and aplomb. Every photo taken with it picks out every imperfection and flaw in my skin. The battery life easily lasts 2 days. I'm always excited to receive a message from my friend because i know it has been delicately typed out on this masterpiece. 10/10.

Unboxtherapy did unbox but the first impression wasnt really that great, no yelling excitement and stuff like he usually does, Lew just ohh... ohh... Feels bad for Sony.
