Great device and one of the most affordable SD855 in UK. Just £477 for brand new from O2 make it steal deal. I gave up with all 16:9 phones now.

Balabakan, 13 Aug 2019I love sony brand but i never buying any sony phone before ... moreSony battery management is very good. The 1 gets the same battery life as the Samsung S10, and just a few hours less than the OnePlus 7 with its bigger battery. If you turn on Sony's battery conservation, it does a lot better.
Also, in my experience of about 7 Sony phones, their batteries are very long lasting.

AlexP, 13 Aug 2019But I just moved my SIM from OnePlus 6t to OnePlus 7pro on ... moreHey , I worked for Tracfone.

GSM Technology does not need IMEI registration
like AT&T and Tmobile, so you can switch your SIM card freely.

          CDMA technology needs IMEI registration
like Sprint and Verizon, SIM card needs to be paired with IMEI so you cant
just switch your SIM card , somehow it may work but most of the feature will not work like
          data/internet.

          thanks.

I love sony brand but i never buying any sony phone before due very expensive for me, but if i really want bought any sony phone the price is not matter for me, but when i look the spec on the batteries is not in my expectation. I hope sony can put higher mah for their smartphone. At least 4k mah in my suggestion. Overall ok including camera, software & etc but only the batteries very low.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2019The problem will be with your carrier and its band frequencies. I have resolved. The problem was that IMEI was not registered in ATT prepaid account.
Once I registered my device's IMEI on the system, It works.

I hope it would be helpful for you guys.

I'm using this phone on Verizon and so far no network problems. I didn't try att. I don't know about that. I use OnePlus 7 pro on att also. I do love both phones, but Xperia 1 is more comfortable to hold in one hand. I just love it

Now I'm using Xperia 1 dual sim unlocked version (J9110) in the U.S., and the carrier is AT&T prepaid unlimited data plan.
However, when I inserted sim card to slot 1 and slot 2 either, 4G LTE is not working with both slots of the phone, but 3G is only working.
Is somebody else knowing the reason why this situation has been happened and how can I resolve this problem?
