Prashant, 30 Aug 2022My Xperia 1 (Japanese unit) doesn't support VOLTE. why?Because the Locked Japanese Phone is TIED to an operator, it means VOLTE is also LOCKED to an operator due to software locked system, to avoid it you may Flash other region software, BUT since japanese NFC chips are 100% DIFFERENT than Global Chip (Japan NFC has Sony Felica and Osaifu Keitai which not available globally) so the NFC will not be driven by global software if you flash it
Choose your way: NFC ON VOLTE OFF or NFC OFF VOLTE ON

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2022You must have bought xperia 1 with low battery health.. alw... moreActually yes the seller has said about 88% and the software told about 50-80% and the usage time is standard, but the battery needs to be replaced i know everybpdy said that and not like samsung which easier to find, this phone and another blackmarket phone in Indonesia hard to find the battery, maybe not the original but not the worst copy one
Other than that the phone is greater than Samsung if not the Fingerprint issues exists, and if ask which unit have better battery? Really don't think so, in Japan secondhand Market the phone is sold in very cheap price and high quantity, so mostly the battery degrades since secondhand
