LG's phone OLED panels have improved a lot from the V30/Pixel 2XL days. Just FYI, even the XZ3 used an LG OLED panel.

Why call it 4j when it's not even close? It's not even UHD.
It is a very nice resolution, just don't call it what it's not.

Sony use Japan OLED that's why it is very nice looking without any problem.
Samsung bragging and branding OLED too much, actually it is marketing strategy. You can find Samsung have a blog to spreading news just like China they want to take propaganda for it news, but any news from Japan they can deny it or do not don't announce it.

I don't understand why the 1 has the bottom bezel slightly bigger than the 10+. Being a flagship, shouldn't it be the other way around?

When bezel-less becomes the most evolving feature in the smartphone for a lot of people, and whenever Sony releases a smartphone with a slightly bigger bezels than the competitors it sounds like a World War BeZel-less movie.

What i have seen so far on you tube from the Xperia 1 has really impressed me sony has really step up there game with the new Xperia 1 i will buy this phone it is in my opinion the most intresting phone that stand out from all the other flagships .

They should give option and proof, not bet all fo... moreWanted to add more but didn't but thanks to you comment now i will, they actually should have made this one bigger with 6.7 inches and made another one with a 6 inches so they give more size options, and this size gap between these two is very manageable for most people, its like a regular version and plus version, the size of the 10 is between, inside the gap, it is confusing, it can be not satisfying for big hands and not manageable for small hands, plus they can preserve their compact version fans.

-Mate 20: For people who want a flagship and doesnt need all the feature and cheaper
-Mate 20 X : Gaming specific phone
-Mate X: a product to proof what they capable of.
The pro and X are very important, even for people who only buy their midrange. Its good for people if they could say, they buy a product from a company who produce best camera mate 20 pro tops dxo and coolest foldable phone mate X.
Sony never give option and proof.

Jdi cannot afford to mass produce its screens, and currently seeking chinese investors to get more money.
And samsung is still the best oled maker.
