infinitycane, 12 May 2020They can keep messing around with useless battery life. Soo... moreWtf?
If Xperia 5 with same screen got 96 hr, I assure you this phone will be well over 100 hr batterylife.
Not even going into the benefits of BatteryCare.
Its not Sonys fault other OEMs have lousy battery optimisation and protection tech, so their bigger MaH batteries dont perform or endure as well.

TheGoldenMellifluous, 12 May 2020Hmmm... well, IDK if that statement of yours can be applied... moreDo not other, some ppl here think all android phones should use only 8xx series, even $90 device. They do not remember many 6xx are batter than older 8xx.

infinitycane, 12 May 2020They can keep messing around with useless battery life. Soo... moreWell, you better surprise how Sony even managed to squeeze its battery life performance in a "smallish battery". Just look at Xperia 5. It's only got 3140 mAh on its juice, resolution adjusted at 6.1" FHD+, Snapdragon 855, yet X5 received great 96hr Endurance Rating, which's a miracle nowadays, outperforming some flagships like the Galaxy S10e by 13hr. Reasons? Optimization of battery software and management behind the wheel. If X5 could get 96hr, I bet X 10 II could post even better, could go beyond the 100hr ER mark, which's again, out of everybody expectation despite its 3600 mAh. We'll see the review for this phone turns out.

Yoyo, 11 May 2020Sony continue to loss customers because sony prioritized th... moremost customers perhaps... but not all customers... bezel is a good one, but yes more screen for minimal footprint is better... but if you employ "solutions" that ruin the screen, i would go with "decent size" bezels than having to deal with holes and notches... and like you said bezels are practical? at least sony knows, along with their users, what is needed from what is just "wanted"... btw 21:9 looks good... other brands are too shy but they are approaching it, xperia just came there first...

Friedbangus, 11 May 2020Snapdragon 665 in 2020? Is this for real? What a joke. Hmmm... well, IDK if that statement of yours can be applied to others, if there some another OEM that applied Snapdragon 460 or Snapdragon 215 in 2021 (yes, both are Qualcomm's low-end latest iteration), or lower version of SD665, the SD662. I mean, you're acting like SD665 is the lowest of Qualcomm's current offering, when there are SD662, SD460, and SD215 that haven't seen or used in any phone, at least at the moment.

If you don't like the ph... moreSony continue to loss customers because sony prioritized their ideas and refuse to listen to the demand of the public. Sony's always late in coping up for the competition. Other successful brands continue to lessen screen bezels but sony stick to old huge ass bezeled screen. Of course, bezel less phone is impractical, but it's what costumers want. 2 or more cameras in a phone is ugly but customers want excellent image output.. Sony realize it, but it was too late..no one interested anymore on their product.
